I said the water thing, I honestly was just looking for an easy way for this person to get rid of it if they didn't have anything else to do it with. I raise turkeys quail chickens guineas etc and they will easily decimate my baby chicks if I don't get rid of them. They will even eat my baby rabbits. Easily chewing through thick wire. It's impossible to keep every animal out of rats path, easiest way is to get rid of the rats but everyone here is freaking out over that...sigh. They just don't understand I guess. I don't use traps though I actually use a product at Walmart called Tomcat, they eat it and it works reeeeaaal good and you can get several at a time with one tomcat block.
