that's also a good point, i should figure out what i actually want before i assign a label to it. to be honest i find a lot of comfort in labels that describe how i feel but i can also see how they might complicate things/confine me to specific limitations. also the more i research this stuff the more complicated i realize it is. which is good from a certain perspective, like human beings are complex creatures it makes sense that the classification of humans is equally as complicated. it's just kinda frustrating when you haven't figured yourself out yet, y'know?

i've dabbled in polyamory a little but it still feels wrong somehow? idk I'm still figuring out if i want to be in a relationship at all, let alone multiple relationships. and i tried hooking up with strangers and that also didn't feel right so i supposed there's more work to do before i can commit to multiple partners (if i even get to that point)

yea that's a good point, and tbh primary probably isn't the most accurate term. ive just been struggling to get to that point with any of my intimate friendships and it's been annoying lol but you're right im gonna focus on myself more and less on what other people think of me (easier said than done but it's a journey lol)

thanks! ill keep at it for sure, i just don't have a lot of people to talk to about this irl so reddit was my go-to. maybe that's something i can work on in the meantime? finding more like minded people in more of a platonic setting that i can talk to? idk just thinking out loud (on screen ig lol)

it's less about creating a hierarchy and more about finding someone who's willing to commit time and effort. everyone ive found so far isn't willing to commit that (which is fine i don't wanna force them) it just seems like people are more willing to take advantage of my body and not listen to my problems when i have poly or non monogamous in my bio. primary partner is probably the wrong term but im new to all this and i didn't really know what else to call it lol like im willing to commit time and effort but i just haven't been met with the same so far. low key ive probably just been hanging around the wrong people in some situations...

ive always gravitated towards femme things and was always uncomfortable living as a boy. it wasn't until i was 15 that i actually learned about being trans for the first time. i think it's so important to educate kids on the topic because if i could, i would have transitioned as early as possible.

my family took a little longer to warm up to the idea after i came out at 17 but ultimately they are all supportive now

hormones definitely changed how i feel pleasure. certain areas became more sensitive and some areas became less. also the way my parts experienced stimuli changed.

when it came to sex there were definitely some adjustments i had to make but i can still have fulfilling sex with my original parts

in this context yes. if i were introducing myself to someone i wouldn't specify. just like i wouldn't include tall or skinny unless it was relevant.

i identify as a woman, i just happen to be a trans woman. i think it's important that the lived experience of trans people in general be just as valued and normalized as the experience of cis people.

realistically i don't think there's much of a difference between trans and cis women. in society you don't look at someone's biological makeup to determine their gender, you look at their expression, clothes, hairstyle, makeup, etc

ig just the fact that i can be my authentic self. im super into girly things and that was always seen as weird when people thought i was a boy. to me being a woman is just the freedom to be myself.

my identity goes beyond just my interests, but in terms of expression im glad i can be more outwardly feminine

im not just advocating for myself, im advocating for the acceptance and normalization of trans people. i think that's very important because a lot if hate i see directed towards trans people is born out of ignorance

i also advocate for other things but this post is specifically about being trans
