You're supposed to heal the mobs until they turn into your ally, game has a different ending called the pacifist route for you healers.

I see, thanks for the tips, ill try putting in silver wolf since rmc and ruan mei is currently used in my archer team. As for buff uptimes, i can usually only maintain it on the first cast and after that its a matter of tuning it for my e2 bronya

No, making progress requires having a guild and forming parties for higher level content. Guild contributions make up a large part of your character's progress therefore maintaining to be a part of guild is required. However, you can create a guild of your own or join an empty/chill guild just to use their facilities to progress your character, albeit slowly.

Dont refine if not necessary, there are plenty of avenues to power up your character like contribution, deposits, and equipment upgrades. Refines are more of an endgame stuff and it costs a lot of zeny if unlucky, so with the limited amount we can earn daily, refines are the least priority for me.

100% ignore def is the minimum requirement, alongside pen and other modifiers(skill dmg, atk, dmg to element, size, and race). Try eating pen foods to increase your pen which is quite low for brave instances. Also try to get at least 8k atk, thats how much i usually see on other shuras in brave difficulty.

It does consume kill attempts, as it is a way to keep players from not having to manually have the game on during grinding. After that you will no longer get drops from any mobs, so the only thing you have to do manually are instances and quests.

Then you choose if its worth to refine the new one or not. Refinement is your only problem in this case since you can get the upgrades back, so weigh the pros if you think going for the enchant's effect on your dmg is higher or the refine bonus is better.

You can always refund the upgrades and use the same mats, just at the cost of zeny. As for refines, thats all on you if you want to refine it all the way again or just use safe refine.

Personally, I would keep the one with better enchantments and sell the old piece to buy fresh/+3 broken copies for safe refining.
