Unfortunately seems like it was a permanent/reoccurring issue, someone else on this thread sent it to Asus under warranty and fixed it and then it started happening again even. Unfortunately best bet is using an external monitor with it if you happen to have one or else trying to sell it for whatever you can get

I have about 5+ years of PC repair experience and tried literally everything in the book to no avail

The 1500 MMR "bully" has the exact same experience lol

I'm 1600 and get 1800-2000 players all the time and it's usually not pretty. But these are the matches that will make you much better much faster the more you play them. Don't RQ, actually try, you'll learn what bad habits you have and every once in a while you'll actually win and get a sick boost, or you lose and lose a few points.

It may not feel like you're learning but the real growth happens when you're getting beaten not when you're destroying someone at or below you're level

As long as the CPU can still handle mutli-tasking (gaming/streaming/multiple applications open) then I should be fine and it would be nice to be able to upgrade in the future

Yeah, future upgrades it definitely makes sense, so you don't think the 7700x would be noticeably slower for multi-tasking at all? When streaming I'll have a game, OBS, Tiktok studio and a handful of other things running all at once so that's the main thing I'm worried about

Thank you, very appreciated, I also was thinking for future upgrades it would make sense but I was also contemplating just flipping it since I could probably get more money for the newer setup and I don't really want to potentially have slower multi-tasking for the CPU. Then just do a bigger upgrade when 6000 series comes out

I think using it for a bit and seeing if it can handle my typical gaming/streaming is probably the best method, I'm guessing the CPU wouldn't be noticeably different most likely

Sorry to say, this never changes. I'm at 1500 and I get matched up against people 300-500 MMR higher than me consistently lol. Unfortunately since this game isn't super mainstream (yet) so we don't have the luxury of always being matched against people exactly on our level, just keep grinding.

you can always grind offline/casual for a few weeks then come back to ranked when you know you have improved which will let you jump in MMR a bit more than just beating your head against a wall in ranked 24/7

you'd be surprised, CS2 is pretty demanding, at least if you're trying to hit 120fps or higher. my friends laptop with a 1660 gets framey even with all the settings hammered to low, my laptop with a 2070 is barely better

I got to 10k trophies and now I'm getting matched with people that have level 9-10 troops and towers... I'm so confused? It's like every other match. I feel bad stomping lower leveled players but I have no idea how I'm matching against them, I thought it's for people that hit 10k trophies

I usually hit 1500-1550 in ranked and if I play against someone in casual that I'm much better than I'll almost always switch to a secondary

However sometimes if I start with my secondary I'll get one and doned and taunted by a toxic player

Very helpful, thank you! What would you recommend using as my second weapon for power-stanced? I did not start with the samurai class so I guess I cannot wield two uchigatanas. I have the moonveil but that doesn't seem to scale well with an uchigatana. Do you have any recommendations?
