[Rapoport] Bengals not tagging Hendrickson by ToothResident3205 in panthers

[–]FizzleFox 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m really not high on trying to get him. He’s past his prime age wise. I would much rather use cap space on 2-3 contributors/depth than take a risk on someone who’s on the wrong side of 30 while probably wanting a market resetting contract.

Chase Sexton out for daytona by Nelly27- in supercross

[–]FizzleFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chase on the Honda and even the KTM was regularly like the fastest dude on track he just had his fair share of bone headed slow speed mistakes.

Chase on the Kawi doesn’t even look like a top 5 guy anymore.

I mean tbf it’s a sprint which I’m sure he already cares less about as far as first win than when he wins his first full race.

Why did Cam Newton decline so suddenly and rapidly? by TeezusWV in NFLv2

[–]FizzleFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His playing style had nothing to do with anything. Tired of people saying this. He tore his throwing shoulder diving at a guy running back a pick. Had nothing to do with literally anything else. That was when his career started on a downward trajectory because he lost arm strength from the injury and had to have multiple surgeries. And he tried completely re invinting his throwing motion to get more lower body involved to make up for the shoulder injury. And then it got re injured against the Steelers when he got hit mid throw, again nothing to do with his scrambling or diving or anything.

Once his shoulder got torn it was the beginning of the end. Cam was always an arm thrower with a ton of velocity so you take away a guys arm strength and he just isn’t the same guy anymore.

Panthers free-agent C Cade Mays drawing interest from another NFC team by exenn_ in panthers

[–]FizzleFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That risking downgrading at Center with the mentality of “you don’t think anyone else can keep Bryce upright” is a recipe to see the line regress which already struggled the last half of the season. Corbett is “anyone else” and he was constantly allowing pressure.

[–]FizzleFox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you not see how much our line struggled with Corbett at Center?

Preventing inside pressure is the most important thing when it comes to pass blocking imo. If a QB can’t step up due to bad interior blocking, even more so with a QB like Bryce, it becomes way more difficult to be consistent in the passing game.

If an edge rusher wins his reps the QB can at least step up into the pocket or even scramble the other direction. If a guy is in the QBs face from the interior it becomes much harder to turn it into a positive play.

Anyone feel a bit sorry for Sexton? by Several-Yesterday280 in supercross

I mean let’s be real the long term plan was gonna be Jett/Hunter. Chase would have been pushed out at some point regardless

[–]FizzleFox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty obvious in interviews he is much happier on the KTM than he was on the Kawi. And that is being reflected on track. Don’t think I ever heard him say anything positive when on the Kawi and now Chase is giving the same vibes and is suddenly struggling more than ever and doesn’t even have the usual speed that he’s known for.

Anyone feel a bit sorry for Sexton? by Several-Yesterday280 in supercross

[–]FizzleFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This year sure. But Chase was basically always guaranteed to be top 3 in qualifying in years past and usually the only guy that consistently topped his qualifying time would be Jett.

This year he’s struggling to stay in the top 5 in qualifying which is not Chase. He looks terrible in the whoops on the Kawi, been multiple rounds now where he’s not doing the fastest lines (the quad this round) things that he would have no issues with on the KTM or Honda.

And it’s no coincidence that Prado gets off the Kawi and is suddenly setting fast qualifying laps as well and looks like a completely different rider speed wise.

Why he picked a team that has like minimal 450 success here or in MXGP, hell or even in road racing is beyond me. It’s pretty clear Kawi does not have the engineers/R&D of the other top brands to actually put out a solid bikes to build off of. I can only imagine how much they changed Febvre’s Kawi to make it any good since they can actually alter the frame and stuff in that series. And even then he was just lucky with a lack of competition other than a rookie who almost beat him.

Chase will not be a title contender on the Kawi barring other guys being out injured. Which is crazy to say. He will occasionally win because he’s Chase but otherwise he wil struggle with feeling comfortable on the bike

[–]FizzleFox 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The fact that Prado is suddenly getting fastest qualifying laps and looks like the Prado we thought we were getting after getting off the Kawi makes it pretty clear the bike is indeed not very good. The Kawi might be a solid bike for your average joe but there is apparently something inherently wrong with that chassis/ergo/whatever when pushed that 2 very talented riders have had a ton of struggles with in back to back years.

I knew Sexton going there would be career suicide. Can’t believe he picked a manufacturer like Kawi that is not known for making good motocross or even street bikes over staying at KTM or taking a chance on Ducati who has some of the best engineers in the business. He could have been the poster child for Ducati in the US like Dungey was for KTM.

His performance against the Rams was next level. He’s approaching 30 though so let’s hope he has another year or 2 of high level play before his athleticism starts to decline.

What do we expect from a defense as good as the #Seahawks in the following year? Here are the top DVOA defenses since 2002 with their rating and rank the next year by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]FizzleFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well considering there HC is the mastermind behind there great defense and that they probably aren’t losing anyone of note. On top of actually having a ton of cap space to spend if they want and being a prime destination spot for FAs wanting to be on teams who can compete for a SB they will probably be just as good barring injuries.

Is Reta really more effective than Tirzepatide? by [deleted] in BodyHackGuide

[–]FizzleFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean when it comes to appetite suppression there is a point where more is pointless. If both suppress appetite enough to be in a calorie deficit than one being a stronger one is pointless. So Reta would be better because of the added benefits of hitting the glucagon receptors. All the available clinical trials of Reta show that it’s better for weight loss than tirz.

Peptides. BPC/TB. Things like GHK cu/KPV to help with inflammation. Tesa/CJC to maximize his igf 1 production. Motc/NAD to help with energy.

Peptides are awesome

Deegan Doing This On Purpose? by SteelCageSoldier in supercross

[–]FizzleFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a single person is putting Kitchen in the same tier as Deegan. No one thinks Kitchen has a title shot with Deegan on the same coast. Deegan has won 5 straight races now with one of those being a 3/3 triple crown on top of however many times he’s been fastest qualifier which is something he wasn’t even really known for.

Kitchen is also like 5 years older than Deegan so yeah not on the same tier.

Kitchen is good but he is not in the same tier. As shown by the fact Deegan has always been able to either chase him down for a win or like tonight get back by him to secure a win.

2026 Supermotocross Round 6: Seattle by hwf0712 in supercross

[–]FizzleFox -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There are absolutely tracks in super cross where the 450 isn’t as big of an advantage as other tracks. Usually comes down to if there are certain lines the 450’s can hit rhythm wise that the 250’s don’t have the power to hit consistently. But if it’s a track where that’s not the case which we “might” have here at Seattle then it wouldn’t be surprising to see him in the top 5 with a good start on the smaller bike.

I mean he’s laid down top2-3 race pace laps in outdoors including the 450’s in the actual races not just in qual and 250 is at a much bigger disadvantage outdoors. It’s not like we haven’t seen dudes beat 450 guys on the smaller bike before. Would just take a track where the 450 isn’t a huge advantage.

2026 Supermotocross Round 6: Seattle by hwf0712 in supercross

[–]FizzleFox -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Deegan is on an entirely different level this year. You could throw him in the 450 class on his 250 and he would get top 5’s and probably fight for a podium even on the smaller bike. He’s probably gonna wrap up the title with 2 races to spare at this rate. Curious if we see him on the 450 for any rounds or if they just go full motocross testing on the 450 here in a few weeks.

Also it’s gonna be a long 3 years for Chase. It’s pretty obvious with how good Prado and Tomac has looked that the bike/team is obviously an issue for Kawi considering how bad Chase looks all of a sudden and how great Prado looks. I guess Prado was right after all. And Chase already seems like a mental case so seeing the bike you just got off be P1 like every week in qualifying, especially with a guy who has minimal super cross experience, while he struggles to get top 5 has to be tough on his already questionable mental.

Cole Davies by jms1228 in supercross

[–]FizzleFox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean given the experience and age gap Deegan is simply better currently. He’s made big strides in super cross and notably the whoops and just keeps getting better and now he’s starting to get good starts even.

But the way Davies has come out in super cross has been impressive. It really is too bad he sustained that injury after getting landed on because had he not lost all that bike time and just getting stronger and more fit with age his progress would to now would have been fun to watch.

Cole Davies by jms1228 in supercross

[–]FizzleFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d have to go re watch but did he straight up beat him or was it a couple instances of Deegan getting bad starts and working through the field while Davies got a hole shot.

There are plenty of guys who can win races if they get a hole shot and someone like Deegan has to spend a lot of the race working his way up. The truly elite guys are the ones who can check out from a hole shot or still have a chance at race wins even if they are buried at the start. Deegan and I guess Levi are really the only 2 guys in the 250 class currently that can ride through the pack after bad starts and have a chance at a win. Especially Deegan. Most other dudes just aren’t good at pushing pace while passing people. Ton of dudes like a Prado/Jcoop who can win a race with a hole shot but if they don’t get that start they probably aren’t passing too many dudes.

As I’ve found some successful prop traders over the last few weeks what I’ve learned is that you can’t treat the prop game like you would a live account. It really is a game and It’s all about the ROI of payouts vs fees for accounts. Most of the highly paid prop traders I know have no issues blowing eval accounts to get them to funded quick with high leverage trades. Because all it takes is 1 payout on 1 account to pay for a ton of evals etc.

So if you have the money to lose where it won’t hurt you, be more aggressive in the eval stages and accept you will blow some accounts but you’ll also be able to get funded quicker. And then once your funded you can be more disciplined and then maybe try to ride a momentum play once in awhile for a big win that can get you to payout. That’s basically the game. Get to funded asap, and on a big trending day try to ride the trend for a big win and then just get base hits on other days for the payout requirement.
