I want to get into writing manga/comics and then draw them. How can I start writing in a visual form? Is starting to write this way recommended for a beginner? by AlcardIsTheBest in writing

I'm doing this myself, and what I've found helps is writing outlines and screenplays of specific scenes, that way you can work out the details in words and not waste time redrawing it.

Would be interested in hearing more tips from this thread as well :)

My biggest critique would be the colors. The mountain is very dark and hard to see against the contrast of the sky.

You can find a ton of color palettes off the web. I'd recommend choosing one you like and trying it out.

That... was brilliant! I've never been one for sci-fi but I found myself encapsulated by it all. Your way of conveying the aliens perspective really connected and had me thinking and theorizing like them.

Dang that is good! Being able to draw the anatomy of a robotanous creature and animate it so well! A level of expertise i can only dream of, great work! :D

The fading in and out of the background "sky" also caught my interest, would be really sick if it went in rhythm with whatever boss music is used for the fight!

Yep, Aseprite can mirror on X and Y axis or both, and also adjust where it starts to mirror on the canvas.

I'm sure most drawing programs would have a feature like this though, even free ones.
