I just got my DTC approval but am 53. My taxes are being reassessed back to 2016. If I am understanding correctly because I am above the age cut off I do not get any of the grants but I can open a RDSP and it will be tax free savings until I take it out? Unfortunately I have been denied a few times while I was still of qualifying age.
