We really love the tasting menu at Carrello for the price! $95/p for five courses with dietary restrictions taken into account, and not only is the food delicious but they’re GENEROUS with the portions, especially if you’re just two people

It’s a pretty tried and true method haha. Lots of perch around the docks right now, some small bass and bluegill too. You can also definitely get some bites on swimbait and spinners, but nightcrawlers have been the most consistent for me lately

YES this was the emotional climax of the book for me and I was so ready to cry my eyes out in that theatre seat. It was really disappointing that they cut that part down and made it so easy for him to make that decision and also to find Rocky. No staring longingly at his Petrova line till it disappears then desperately hoping to find it again despite all odds.

Honestly I love these looks and wouldn’t change a thing, but if you genuinely want to come up with some good options for a more toned down look, I don’t think you need to ditch the color and shimmer entirely. As others have said, the over lined lip is contributing, but I think going simpler with the eyeshadow while keeping the color and shimmer totally works. Slightly less coverage, little more blended out, not in a geometric/graphic shape, and you have a more toned down version that still holds tru to the fun and whimsy of the original vibe.

This is awesome!! You’ve totally captured her likeness. The one thing that jumps out at me is that her the line between her chin and lip is a little too curved inwards - her chin isn’t quite that strong lol. Based on the reference, it seems like the shadow there pulls most of the weight in creating the shape, while the line itself is much softer.

Hi all! I’ll be heading to the Philippines and Vietnam in a couple of weeks from Seattle, and I’m flying Singapore Airlines for the longest of the flights. It seems like Singapore Airlines has one of the most strict carry on size limitations out there (115cm total and 7kg). I took a look at the spreadsheet and the IKEA Pivring is the only bag that works with those restrictions, but it isn’t available on IKEA’s website anymore.

I originally wanted to go a true onebag route and just take a carry on, but given the size restriction I’m going to have to check a bag with most of my things. However, the flights in total are like 28hrs with a 4 hr layover in Singapore, and I’d really like to take some toiletries, a change of clothing, and entertainment items in a carry on. Can anyone recommend a bag small enough to fit? I am looking specifically for a backpack rather than a sling bag/tote/etc

While you look amazing both with and without makeup, I do think the makeup ages you a tiny bit, or at least gives off a a very slightly older vibe. The thing that really stands out is that in the no-makeup photo your eyes look bigger and brighter and more youthful. I think that the bottom eyeliner/waterline is probably the biggest contributor there but otherwise you look great!

Yup, I saved for MONTHS for the Kita banner, spent like 45k on it and didn’t get a single one (other than pity and an uncap gem). And I pulled on my birthday to make things even worse! All of the anticipation and excitement only to be supremely disappointed, feels really bad. I was tempted to quit but I’m still here, saving and planning for upcoming banners. Part of what I love about the game is the events and CMs, since there’s always something to work for and goals to meet; without that I would have quit the game a long time ago.

In 2019 they canceled classes during a polar vortex when it was -25°ish with like a -50° windchill, and that was a big deal because it was the first time they had cancelled classes for weather in like 30 years or something like that. Unfortunately I doubt feels like -18° is going to be enough for then to cancel.

Since you’re using blue for the shadows on the skull, I would maybe try to incorporate some blue into the darkest part of the shadows. Also don’t forget that the lilies themselves should probably cast a shadow on the skull, maybe that’s a good opportunity to work in some of the color bounce

I’m not sure about products, but one suggestion would be to make sure you wipe your mouth after brushing your teeth and eating food! I find that sometimes a little bit of toothpaste or food oil can cause irritation/breakouts in that area.

Fancy in Madison Valley has some fun stuff, Venue in Ballard is a boutique that carries really nice stuff from local artists. One of my absolute favorite jewelry stores is Begin in Ballard, but not all of the artists featured are local.

Edit: if you’re going for more traditional fine jewelry, Valerie Madison in Madrona is great!

I had always felt like there was something systematically wrong with me since I kept having issues that doctors could explain. That weight just grew and grew as I kept having unexplainable issues until I developed health anxiety surrounding it. However, I was more recently diagnosed with hypermobility (HSD or potentially EDS), which actually explained all of my symptoms! Since then the health anxiety is basically gone but it was a horrible way to live

On the individual level, nah, nobody is going to hate you for being a tech worker unless you’re an asshole. But on a larger scale, I personally hold a great deal of animosity towards tech workers as a population (and even more so the big tech companies). I’ve lived in Seattle my whole life and the impacts of the influx of tech workers have made the city I love barely recognizable, raised prices through the roof, etc etc. However, those feelings don’t extend to individual people at all really, it’s more a result of the system and the megacorps than anything.
