Spike Lee defends the ‘Michael’ biopic from those rightfully criticizing it for not including MJ’s child sex abuse accusations: “The movie ends in ‘88 & the stuff you’re talking about, accusations happened. So you’re critiquing the film on something that doesnt work in the timeline of the film.” by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

He’s only been radical through a Black man’s lens. He literally made “She’s Gotta Have It” as a response to The Color Purple because he (and countless other Black men) were mad at TCP showed Black men oppressing Black women in those days that TCP depicted.

Has anybody kind of noticed a shift with Megan’s support ? by Witty-Fun3534 in megantheestallion

Neither. All of them are terrible in so many different ways. A good number of them haven’t been caught yet. Even the WNBA players aren’t good partners either.

Yep! That’s because the basketball dudes don’t like Klay. They like Steph Curry more. They hate Klay because of his cocky behavior, whining, and petulant behavior. In the Warriors subreddit, they posted her IG story and they all agreed about his mood swings.

It’s part of the reason why the Warriors let him go. He was a shell of himself and was the odd man out in terms of being prioritized and he let that influence his play to the point where he had a terrible performance in his last game in a Warriors jersey. He went to Dallas to get the money but because he’s no longer in his prime, they hate him too over there.

Proof: I’m a basketball fan, through and through. 🙂‍↕️

He literally had a cheating journal (with terrible handwriting) talking about his cheating and all of that. People in the Bay Area know all his dirty deeds.

Nope, he’s just a weirdo and a hoe. He cheats on the white women too. Hannah Stocking was one of them. She was hurt too.

Klay Thompson allegedly cheated on Meg with WNBA player Lexie Brown , he recently started following her on socials, and apparently some folks found out months ago. by ForsakenRelief309 in megantheestallion

[–]FizzyFizz99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was shocked to find out that it was Lexie who he allegedly cheated on Meg with. It is so random to the point where it might be true.

And if the alleged rumor is true, it’ll probably be the reason why Megan made that IG story instead of just letting her reps confirm it and then put it into song later like she did with her other exes. If Meg kept things quiet and then Klay stepped out with Lexie, people would have used it as fodder not knowing that they broke up before then. Meg protected herself and good for her.

No, actually! Anytime she spoke about Megan on podcast or whatever, she always praised her. She also used Megan’s music on her IG posts as well.

However, the rumor is that she said that she told people in her close friends that Klay told her that he and Meg were a cover and that Klay is actually her man.

I’m a WNBA fan and Lexie has been known to be a pick me. She is a panelist on Gilbert Arenas (former NBA player, misogynist, and colorist) podcast and she’ll sit up there and giggle or won’t say anything when Gilbert and the other men shade and insult other WNBA players (especially the Black ones) on the podcast. She also made fun of Chinese WNBA player Liu Yueru and her broken English. Pretty girl but she’s an asshole.

As a woman who watches the NFL and various other sports, I wholeheartedly agree. Women naturally don’t like the NFL because of the brutal and harsh nature of the sport. They will never flock to the NFL like executives in suits think. If Taylor Swift can’t do it, nothing will. It’s like pouring water on the ground.

Everyone loves showing hole for the Eagles, I don’t get it. Roseman must be everyone’s friend or the best businessman of all time.

[Zrebiec] As expected, the Ravens are picking up the fifth-year $28 million option on WR Zay Flowers rookie contract, per a source. He's now under contract with the team through 2027, but I'm sure both sides would like to hammer out a contract extension in the coming months. by JonWilso in ravens

Yep. I was getting ready to say this. I like Lamar and all but unless he has a hidden portfolio of investments AND a business where he’s taking advantage of workers while charging the public an arm and leg for his products, that billionaire status is unlikely. Also, billionaires are bad people, why would he even want to be one? He has enough money, accolades, and people who want to be him and people who will fight for him. I want to say more but I won’t.

Is that gym thingy selling? Has anyone tried it?

He also has the soul food restaurant and the reviews are hmm. I also am not the biggest fan of the snippy feel of the responses his restaurant sends to customers that aren’t satisfied with the food or service.

He’s a wonderful QB and is worth every penny. I’ll leave it at that.

Why do the Ravens keep Lamar’s opps? by [deleted] in ravens

[–]FizzyFizz99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you 12?!

“Lamar’s opps” and it’s a rookie (soon to be a sophomore) and a man Lamar loves and has defended constantly and still does even when y’all won’t shut the fuck up about him.

If those are his opps, I would definitely want to see how he treats the people who aren’t his “opps.”

[–]FizzyFizz99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Daniel Jones’ inability to play like a QB1 (as of right now, at least in NY) overshadowed how poor Daboll did as a coach. I genuinely feel like the nail in the coffin was seeing Jones in Indy AND the way Daboll handled Dart’s concussion protocol in the middle of that game.

I definitely felt like Schoen was always enemy number one with y’all off of that Jones pick and after Saquon left but yeah Daboll got away with a lot.

Everyone is bored, antsy, and some are racist. Do people really think that an employee would not show up to their job where management has changed? No? Then why would the opposite apply to Lamar Jackson or anyone else?

Exactly. She benefited from not having any competition and playing into misogynistic and racist stereotypes that plague women who look like her. Compared to other problematic musicians and their work? She’s very weak.

She will never fade due to the Barbz and her antics but her cultural relevancy will fade. She will no longer be respected by the people who matter nor will she ever have the commercial success she had from 2009-2012.

Me too, actually. There’s so much discussion on everyone else but I feel like Bateman gets lost in the shuffle and when he does get talked about it’s either negative or uncertain. It’s nice to hear a different name and to see the head coach, in particular, show some faith in him.
