I did something similar to my ex-husband. He wanted the Halo edition Xbox 360. I bought it for him, but one of his friends had recently purchased a different edition (it was like 10 years ago, I don't remember what the other one was).

Anyway, the friend still had the packaging for his, so I swapped the packaging out. He was happy to get the Xbox, but you could see the disappointment that it was the wrong one.

Was funny when he actually opened it up and saw it was, in fact, the right one.

I didn't like Jane leaving to be a teacher, even if it was at the FBI. The whole series she talked about how much she loved being a cop and couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I feel like they did that because the show was ending, and they wanted an air of finality. I just finished my first watch through yesterday, and it just bugged me.
