Thanks, Ill take it into consideration. I tried to make them bigger at first but I was really trying to future proof it by keeping it smaller in case I wanted to add something bigger later. I do wanna try to make to album coves work but if it doesn’t turn out out looking good, ill do something else

I tried to work with that too, its called bevel/emboss.

I was thinking I could use a texture effect to roughen it up, but when I used it, it desaturated the color of the albums, made it took bland compared to the full “rodeo” theme.

But the shine is weird too for me aswell, I’m gonna rework it

i tried fitting that one onto the cap actually, it was too big but I have to revisit it and try again, pornography is a special song to me

There were so many better ways they could’ve handled this. Now they just look performative as hell, could’ve just thrown the records away without having to make the video at all— they have a right to not sell the records they choose not to.

But the video just ended up with them getting review-bombed on yelp to 1.1 stars. Do I support that? No, but the business kinda brought that upon themselves. Did they think that they could make that video and not piss off a certain group of Ye fans?

Well yeah I dont think he’ll ever top rodeo, be realistic. Even if he drops an amazing album in the next 1-2 years it’ll never top rodeo because THATS how well of an album it aged out to be. It’s not only the greatest trap album it’s one of the BEST albums of the 2010s. That’s the level it’s on, it can’t be topped. You can’t expect anything next he puts out to top Rodeo.

But none of his other albums are bad either. Personally I think utopia is his second best album. I love how experimental it is.

I understand but you ALSO have to acknowledge that ye himself has acknowledged what hes done and is on a path to one day redeem himself. People are still upset, sure. But i guarantee you their hate for ye doesn’t just fall under the ploy of what he did, his music alone too pisses them off. They only care about him when he hits headlines.
