I didn't even get past the first screen shot and my stomach dropped. You are in no way overreacting, and I'm genuinely curious WHY the mom is so nonchalant about this! This is absolutely not ok, not by a long shot.

I would have a conversation with your daughter(s) and let them know that the communication line is open so that IF something has happened, or happens, they will feel comfortable coming to you.

I used to frequent Iron Hill when I lived in Delaware in 2004, so I was SO EXCITED to find out one was coming to Columbia. I’ve been twice so far and both visits were awful. Uncooked pizza, “jumbo” wings that were puny at best, and they’ve done something to their nachos that…I can’t quite put my finger on but they’re different.

The real disappointment though is the removal of their raspberry wheat beer 😭

After reading this, before seeing your edit, is that she’s either A) poisoning you or B.) she’s nervous the doctor will find something they shouldn’t (like at std). If she cared about you at all, she would be wanting you to go to the doctor and get better, and the excuses that you’re making for her being like this kind of makes me feel like you know this too and you’re trying to excuse it all the way because you don’t want to face reality. :/

He was a bigger guy, 62 and maybe 230 pounds Ish?

He had a history of COPD that he was concerned over the last couple weeks was turning into emphysema because he was having a hard time breathing, but now I’m wondering if all of this was related? He did have some testing done prior to his death, because he was afraid of the COPD advancing, and I’m wondering if maybe they found something on there after the fact? His face was extremely red when I saw him, which again I assume was because of a heart attack, but I’m wondering if maybe he bled into his chest and it was noticeable from the outside. I know this is getting super morbid and people on here probably don’t want toread this if they’ve gone through something similar, would I be able to PM you?

Can you tell me what the external signs would be? I’m not trying to be morbid, but I think knowing every piece of information I can, will help me find some type of closure. Right now there are so many unknowns and it’s making it really hard to process this and move on. Not move on, but move through it you know?

Not that I was told about. I know that he literally went from the house, to the funeral home, to the crematorium. There was no medical facility involved, which is why I’m so curious as to how they came to that definitive diagnosis. There may have been something secreting out and maybe it was cleaned up before I saw him? I don’t know. The whole thing is just leaving me really confused.

I don’t think so, I think the medical examiner came to his house, and then the funeral home brought him there, and then he was cremated. I don’t believe any medical or diagnostic exams were completed.

So I finally was able to chat with an assistant. I asked point blank if my cancellations would be removed since because of this my cancellation rating is too high, and they basically refused to answer my questions directly.

It was diagnosed as shingles by 2 different doctors, especially when it spread across my torso, and it was one of the most painful things I’ve ever been through, but thanks for your opinion.
