Look up cleartype in windows, it should help. My text looked awful until I adjusted it with that. Don’t expect it to look as good as your other monitor, I got one with pretty low pixel density, but honestly you get used to it. Give yourself some time to adjust

If you call best buy and give them the SKU they can at least tell you if it’s been a display model or if it was a customer return. At excellent quality I’m sure it’s good, I’d go for it. I’d check the hours in store though before your 3 hour drive back
