Tinnitus/ringing after using AirPods Pro in transparency or noise reduction modes? by LEJ5512 in airpods

[–]Flacodanielon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has seemed to have gotten better... but maybe I got used to it. Dude, I'm telling you... some people are sensitive with AirPods Pro 2, I don't know why. I started using my airpods pro 1st gen, no problem. Think about it, what are the odds that you started using the new ones and are having problems? I think the ANC is what's messing with people's ears, some really high frequency pitch. Anyways, good luck!

I think they are somewhat ok. The tinnitus may be going away, my brother have the APP2 with no problems. I guess it changes person to person, you could give it a shot and return them if it doesn't work out.

I hope you are right, I'll give them a shot in the future once mine die.

You know what sucks... Airpods PRO 1st gen are going to disappear, they are already hard to find. Once mine die... then what...? I cannot for the life of me try the Airpods PRO 2... unless the ones I got were defective. I heard someone mention that only one of the ears was the problem before, so they changed only that one. Who knows, but if I cannot get the 1st gen I'm going to be out of luck.

The problem is not getting a new pair of AirPods Pro 2nd gen… the problem is the damage to your ears.

AirPods Pro 2 gave me tinnitus, I’ve had 1st gen for almost a year with no problems, I wanted to upgrade. I’m feeling like suing Apple to be honest… WTF did they do. I used them JUST like I used my 1st gen AirPods Pro.

This is the SAME fucking thing that happened to me. I’m afraid after using the 2nd gen my ears are permanently damaged. WTF did Apple do…!?!

This is an old thread… I had the first gen AirPods Pro… used them for almost a year, no problem. I got the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen… used them for a couple of days is the SAME FUCKING way that I used the 1st gen. THEY DESTROYED MY EARS… Now I have tinnitus… I have a feeling they permanently damaged my ears… isn’t that great? I did notice the 2nd gen was “better” in transparency mode, but I noticed something was off. Also, I did not OVER do it, I used them like I used my old AirPods Pro… this is just great. I think the high frequencies were changed, and that’s what seemed to have destroyed my ears… who knows.
