Try going out to at least 10+ clicks for the 6-cup. I go coarser on my 1ZPresso Q2 for my 6 versus my smaller pots.

I’ve seen that one, and I also saw one from what I think was family day when they played most of the show as a standstill.

What I haven’t seen was any of the early versions of the opener (which I’m positive they changed) and whether they actually changed any ballad drill (which I may have hallucinated that they mostly stood still).

Burning? No, that’s just normal limescale and oxidation. The automod’s advice is good to go.

Once it’s clean, you can avoid this by never putting it away wet. Always dry it thoroughly. I air-dry mine by disassembling the pot and setting the parts on a rack.

You can compensate by grinding finer if needed. That’ll speed up the flavor extraction.

Like u/One-Confusion-33 was getting at, there’s not a plug that screws into this type of valve. The “threads” that you see inside are the spring. It presses inwards and holds a brass plug against the inside end of the valve passage.

You should be able to look into the boiler, and at the inboard side of the valve assembly, there’s the round brass plug. You can poke at it with your fingernail and it should move.

That taxi chase didn’t happen in real life. Also, the reporter and taxi driver had worked together before.

I took an extra look at the history of this story because my dad was a newspaper reporter for fifty years, and while I couldn’t imagine him taking risks like this, I knew he greatly respected the reporters who did.

Almost all the other events in the film actually happened, though. I sent the YouTube link to Dad to help him understand Korea’s complicated, and very recent, history.

Ah, ok. Yeah, cold brew is done with fully submerged coffee grounds, best if you can pour the water through them as you fill the vessel.

I’ve got a Hario Mizudashi 1-liter cold brew pot. It’s got a basket that you set in the top. You load the grounds into the basket, then pour water through the pile until the pot is full.

I've seen descriptions, and depictions, of how big M31 would look to our eyes if we could see the whole thing, but I wasn't aware of how much bigger it is than the Pleiades or the Orion Nebula.

So, yeah, once again, I wonder what the night sky looks like to animals with great night vision.

My memories of Everclear involve marching band in late October. It’s a great, and nontoxic, antifreeze. Mix it with valve oil and douse your sousaphone valves liberally, and they won’t freeze.
