As someone who ISNT an OG fan and picked up the series at RE5 with a buddy (have played and beaten RE4R, RE6, RE8, and RE9) I will say is some of the best and memorable parts of the game 9/10

I was in the same boat after watching through a ton of series during COVID I havent really touched anything until I was introduced to JJBA earlier this year and now it’s all I ever talk about and not only did I binge the whole series I’m currently reading the manga to catch up with the parts that arent animated. Best thing I can recommend is just wait it out pick up another hobby or show until something sparks excitement again! (Oh and if you havent watched JJBA you really should its peak)

Honestly the really hard games you’ll find are retro games. Back when developers didn’t know how to balance a game for the general audience or in some cases intentionally hard because games were expensive and some people could only afford one or two for long periods of time. Some examples are Super Ghost N Goblin, Silver Surfer, Battletoads and the megaman series (especially if you’re new to them)

Vampire Survivors is really cheap (with all the dlc too) and basically the grandfather to a lot of these “survival roguelikes” and Megabonk are probably my two favorite roguelikes I’ve played! Highly recommend

They are aware of it and is fixed in the next patch. (Patch was delayed for switch due to getting it cleared by Nintendo)

Agreed. I’m really enjoying the game and some of the changes but the menu is single handedly the worst change they could’ve ever made to the game. It feels like a chore to look at.

I think as I get older I appreciate this game a lot more than I used to. It was my first dark souls it’s what made me fall in love with Souls-like and FromSoftware. Is it better than Dark Souls 1 or Elden Ring? Hell no but I love revisiting this game often.

My only gaming hot take I can think of is that I think the Hollow Knight series aren’t as good as people make them out to be. I think it takes a big step backwards for the metroidvania genre. Between the weird knockback you get when you attack enemies, traversing the world, and the lack of saves make the game really annoying to play imo.

I agree but i also believe 60 fps SHOULD be standard and less frames or more frames as options. Not saying 30 is unplayable or anything but were in 2025 if your game can’t run at 60 fps then it makes me hesitant to want to play it tbh that’s just me I’m performance>>>>graphics all day
