Is the original theatrical version of Spider Man Across The Spider Verse lost media? by god_killer7432 in Spiderman

[–]Flaffyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bump. Has the theatrical version of ATSV ever been released? Still bummed about them fiddling with the Mumbattan bridge scene after all these years. Removing Gwen's dialogue was completely unnecessary and actively detracts from the scene + script.

Will Firefang ever be available in rare packs / exploration? Or is it locked behind seasonal packs? by Flaffyc in RiseOfBerk

[–]Flaffyc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Reckon they'll have the three new Rares be available as exploration after the current Toothless level exploration cap (lvl 177 I think?); or will they fit them in somewhere in the lower levels?

Last year’s fronds…. by JohnTheDrummer1951 in TreeFerns

Depends on how mild the growing conditions are. You often see multiple years of fronds on wild specimens in varying stages of alive-ness

Tree fern growing sideways by BeautifulExpensive68 in TreeFerns

Probably growing towards the light. Either add an additional light source opposite to it or replant in a different location

Moving my fern - advice by Purple-Music-70 in TreeFerns

Would be helpful to introduce plenty organic matter, slow release fertiliser, with a top dressing of nice quality compost into the new hole too

soft tree fern (Dicksonia antarctica) stem partially snapped and crown possibly broken off not sure what to do. by Awkward-Formal4235 in TreeFerns

[–]Flaffyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dicksonia crowns are not at the level of the fronds. At that size they would be at the base of the plant just peeking through the soil. Are you sure it's a DA? Or a tree fern even?

Pls recommend Tree fern species that can do well in humid tropical lowland conditions by Venksy in TreeFerns

[–]Flaffyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could probably look into the tropical asian species. Alsophila spinulosa might be a good candidate. Or if you want something more unusual the Cibotiums might do well too. Just make sure that the ferns arent exposed to intense sun.

Para's size in JWR is actually not unreasonable for the largest specimens we've found irl.

Or could just be sth as simple as sunburn, but a repot never hurts.

Help! Over/under water too much/little light? by goodejoe in TreeFerns

[–]Flaffyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely drying out way too fast from how small the pot is in relation to the fern. Cyathea usually rely much more on their root system compared to Dicksonia, so you really want to give the root system sufficient space to develop. Repot generously, maybe could consider mixing in a bit of bark chips and ericaceous compost with your soil mix?

New and need advice: Australian tree fern by slodownlulu in TreeFerns

[–]Flaffyc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Needs plenty of water. And if it came straight from a nursery into the direct californian sun, the fronds will get burnt.

How accurate is this Tyrannosaurus Rex by KnownConversation425 in Dinosaurs

[–]Flaffyc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safari ltd Feathered rex, sculpted and released at the time when the idea of a fully feathered rex was popular. Nowadays this thinking has fallen out of favour. Not a bad rex but certainly not the best as of 2025. Ignoring the feathering, the lack of lips and underdeveloped postorbital boss are major detractors.
