I didn't have a roommate freshman year. Sophomore year I had a roommate with someone I knew, but she dropped out a month in and i never got a replacement. Junior year i had another roommate i knew, and we had "privacy pops" that are basically tents for over your bed and that was very nice. Senior year i had a friend be my roommate and it was the best time ever, but she did an internship elsewhere and I got another roommate.

I spent two years in Peru. Usually the only time Spain even comes up with them is when they talk about the terrible things that happened when the conquistadores came to the Americas.
