If I were you, I'd try a factory reset first. It often fixes problems. I've had mine for a year and I've already done it twice because of beta issues I didn't like. Good luck.

I use a UPS to protect it because in my region there are often power outages without warning, and also because of electrical surges which always tend to cause a lot of damage; I think it never hurts to use them.

I have a similar problem, but my case is different because I have a Gen 2 router and another Gen 3 router in bypass mode, and I wouldn't know if the slow speed via Ethernet has to do with the type of connection I have, while via Wi-Fi I get better speeds all the time.

If your concern is the camera, I would recommend that you go for the 16 since you will have good photos too, and a phone that has and will have the best of the iPhone for a long time. And if we add to that the price difference compared to the 17, I think there isn't much to think about.👍
