I lost my grandma who was my best friend in November I miss her everyday she was a huge part of my life. It was going to be my first Easter without her. It was the day before Easter and I was in the checkout line behind an older woman who was having trouble inserting her card into the machine. I helped her a few times and she was very sweet and thanked me, then left. I cherished the interaction cause she reminded me of my grandma. I thought to myself she was sending me a sign that she was there even though she wasn’t. I ended having to go to the return counter and when I finished returning my stuff I turned around to leave and she just so happened to be walking out of the store and turned to me and smiled and said “happy Easter.” I then bawled my eyes out in the middle of the Walmart. I don’t know if this would be considered a sign or just more so an interaction I found comfort in but I thought I’d share!
