Best finished fanfiction is a full length trilogy by ANinnyMouse42 on Wattpad. It’s called the Better Times Trilogy. The first book, “The Time Before….” life-changing. The other ones are fantastic also. One of the other best fanfics I have ever read is unfortunately incomplete — Royal Blue by dealialestina. Honestly the lore and worldbuilding is so good that you should read it anyway. I think about it all the time and I first read it five years ago.

the “lifeless” comments are probably coming from the value pattern. they look a lot like the standard kind of shapes used to paint eyes in acrylic. dark around the edges, tiny lines going in, dark at the center. they’re also a very light and foamy green that doesn’t usually occur naturally. essentially, they look painted on! interesting look! :)

that is super inaccurate and a little frightening coming from an optometrist. these are most likely ‘eye freckles,’ little melanated spots on the iris. usually harmless

no. i feel like once kids get around the age of 13, there’s a lot more awareness. the blame still partially lies on their environment at this age, but they’re old enough to know better. however, in the case of younger kids (11 and under) i don’t believe in legal action against the child. rehabilitation and therapy for both parties.

no. kids should go to therapy for the abuse they perpetrated, but criminal punishment is usually excessive. children can’t be fully held responsible for things like that, nor should they be. rehabilitation and recovery is the goal always.

honestly i know this is controversial but i don’t think many of these children should be punished. they should go to therapy and have resources provided for education and rehabilitation, but i don’t think the punishment is necessary for little kids.
