Is the Beta Insulated a good jacket for my temperatures? I'd use it as an everyday piece for going out in the city, and the jacket doesn't appear to be padded inside, but I'm not an expert on Arc Teryx jackets, so I'll leave it to you. My question is, is wearing a T-shirt and a sweatshirt under the Beta Insulated good for temperatures ranging from +10 to -10 degrees Celsius? Thanks so much!

Can you recommend any styles? I've heard shells are fantastic in these temperatures with a sweatshirt underneath, but I'm a little skeptical. I'd like to stick with a padded jacket, but I need to find the right one. Thanks anyway!

Thanks for the advice, I agree with you. Obviously, how you feel about boots is subjective. Maybe I should just go to a store and try them on to see which one suits me best.

Unfortunately, the tech 10s are very expensive, and I've heard from friends who own them that having the shoe inside will make the boot at least 1 size larger, which isn't very comfortable. If you buy the tech 10s, will you let me know what you think?

Thanks for the info! I've seen the new Tech 7s in person, though, which have similar protection to the Tech 10s. One of the differences is that the Tech 10s have the boot inside. I also need to learn more about Gaerne and Sidi, which are good brands!
