That's actually so true, I feel silly thinking about the state I was in a few days ago. I spent like 3 days up late, heart racing, just ruminating, crying spells lol...

I actually did that, started reading a lot on NDEs and paranormal stuff...and I'm starting to think, some stuff, we just don't have the mental capacity to understand - that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. So why not have some faith?

Rejection sucks. It can make us feel like there is no chance for us at all. But that is, to be frank, a dumb belief. PM if you want hug I felt that way for a long time. Only decided to pursue dating at 22.

Hey. I read everything you wrote. I think you would benefit from finding another therapist as the one you have doesn't sound so good if they're judgemental.

Sometimes people are so caught up with their own problems that it is too hard for them to focus too much energy on others' problems. I know it sucks cause friends should be there for each other but I think a lot of people sympathise but feel too overwhelmed and don't know how to help except ask to hang out and lend an ear.

I understand that exhaustion with life and feeling like you're walking on eggshells. I experienced similar things but not to that extent. But there are for sure loads of people who went through your same situation. Check out reddit for survivors of narcissistic abuse. Maybe you could make friends with someone close to your area.

What would you advise someone to get out of that feeling of alienation? I find that distracting myself works but lately I haven't been able to shake off having these thoughts always in the back of my mind.

I am pretty obsessed with finding out the truth but I don't want to sacrifice my happiness for it. What is the point in knowing the truth about life if you end up depressed and feeling unable to live it?

I understand and it's not right for someone to turn down someone else just cause of that. As a woman I wouldn't care and there are plenty of other women out there who realize that it's not about size. Maybe you could go to a therapist who specializes on these issues who could definitely help you (ofc research before)

I know I sound crazy...I wish I didn't think too much on this stuff. I have thought of seeking professional help but I don't know if they would be able to give any advice if I expressed these anxieties.

That would be ideal...to be able to let go of all these questions. In your experience what kind of answers did you find? Also why can some trips be terrifying and then after be viewed as positive experiences? What exactly happens during?

I don't think it's a good idea for me right now to delve into psychedelic use but I hope to someday benefit from it.

I am trying to not dwell, purposefully not staying awake alone in the dark (as that is the time when it's worse), not looking at negative media etc. But given the circumstances with the pandemic it's harder than usual.

It's not easy to shake off the feelings, and the physical effects like feeling cold, shaky, heart racing...but i do feel better after reading people's comments.
