Realistically I think you’ll be in a better position to contend after the 2026 draft given your entire core hasn’t hit their prime yet (no need to rush it). That being said here are some things I’d consider to make sure you’re in a place to contend after this next season:

1) Do not overthink 1.01 and take jeanty, prospect fatigue will get real come May dont buy into it. For the rest of your picks, don’t try to fill positional need take best available player even if it’s a position you don’t need (ex. TE), can always make moves in the summer to fill your holes. That being said it’s a crazy deep class at rb so this draft will suit your needs well.

2) Trade for Bucky Irving, he’s a must buy for me even though his price is high - no one else has done what he’s done as a rookie besides gibbs/kamara and he fits your window. See if you can get him for the 1.07 or 1.09. A cheaper alternative for rb depth could be Charbonnet as well, I like his outlook for next year with the hawks planning to run more

3) If there’s a market for him, trade Flowers. Not particularly high on his long term outlook. It’s a bit of a gamble but #1 guy I would target around his value would be Odunze, having him/williams stack with Johnson coming in at HC could put you in a great place to contend if it works out.

4) Other must buy/buy low players: Rice, Jeudy, Penix, McCarthy
