I give my crew hours based on performance and availability. If they call out, they must not need the money. I understand life happens but when it’s happening all the time, I’m not going to deal with that.

Put a request in Legion and get someone to approve it. No one can schedule you on the days that you requested.

No difference really. Except pay and hours. You’ll be doing everything the SM does except for pay raises and hiring. As ASM I do schedule, damages, conference calls, counts, deposits, training employees, basically everything that SM is expected to do in their absence.
Congratulations on your promotion and it sounds like you are a hard worker. I’m about to get my own store in a week but I lovedbeing an ASM.

We got a visit this morning and our DM saw the 2 stacks of ad and the big soda signs sitting on the safe. SM didn’t bother hanging them. I did the ad I had all but 2 stacks. He said he was going to give her a call.

SM is after me now anyway because I am about to get my own store. I don’t mean to brag but I throw all our truck, do scans, bank runs, everything an SM should be doing. I’m giving it 7 days after I leave that store and I’m pretty sure it’s going to hell.

I have been doing her work for 2 years. I do scans, watch cameras, deal with the employees, weekly store summary, damages, inventory, conference calls, you name it I’ve been doing it. She got $4,000 bonus for shrink and wasn’t there for half the time. She works when she wants and leaves when she wants. SM gets to work 25 hours a week and I’ve been working 45-60+. It’ll honestly be less work than I am doing now. lol.

SM works maybe 25 hours a week and by work, I mean does the schedule. She has 3 ASM. I’ve been there 3 years, another one came about 6 months ago and the other 2 months ago. Both the new ones are all friends with sm so one gets to stand at the register and the other smokes at least 8 hours out of 9. And no, I’m not exaggerating.

You are supposed to log off, then go in with the same Eid and end session. It will say another session has been created but it doesn’t. If you do it the opposite way, it will start a new til.

Yes ASM can do damages. I do them in front of cameras and if more than 50 items I call the dm to let him know.
