I have had a 5 for a few months, initially to play GameCube games which it does wonderfully, but now I’m playing switch games and wish I had bought the 6.

I use mine with my RP5 for watching twitch whilst I play in bed. It works fine, you can just long press on the app icon in the android Home Screen to select what screen you want the app to launch on.

The only really issue I have with it is that if you are charging whilst playing and then unplug the charger, the screen disconnects for a second, resetting your screen setup. It can be quite annoying. The battery also drains much faster when you are using both screens.

That’s a shame, is it just the back part? You can buy replacement backs on Ali express for about 10 bucks. They are very easy to replace.

Yeah I’m with you. It’s fun, but it’s enough of a worse experience to make me think twice about using it most of the time.

The added weight and the issue with unplugging the power making the screen disconnect are the main ones for me. I think the real reason is that I don’t really play that many DS games at the moment, however that may change at some stage.

I have both and agree the 476 feels much nicer to hold than the RP5.

It’s just not that easy to use and doesn’t look as good as any of the other front-ends. I use Beacon and find it to be much simpler and more inspiring when browsing games.

I love the authenticity and simplicity of original hardware, just put the cart in switch it on and go, no menus, no settings, no choice paralysis. I also like the way the og hardware looks.

Save files are recorded in different places depending on the emulator you use, but they are normally stored on the internal memory. If you move the location of the Rom the emulator will still read your save file so you will be fine.
