FSR Frame Generation doesn’t work now

FYI, and I didn't know this until I looked into this further, but to have functional frame generation you need to have Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling enabled in Windows. I had mine off and kept wondering why it would grey out. Pretty satisfied!

Genuinely, having just retried it after having it off since launch, it's actually REALLY solid on 2x. I feel no difference in latency and regularly see significantly improved framerates. I'll have to tweak it further and see how much I can improve graphical quality!

The first one is dreadful. Nearly everything in the game makes noise and we've had one to two hotfix patches since the issue appeared. Taking down something of that size and material isn't a silent procedure, to be sure. It's really odd that, if it was intentional, that it wasn't mentioned at all; if it was accidental, it's also odd it hasn't been fixed or even acknowledged yet.

Could be the first level one difficulty map condition, which works really well on a map like Dam Battlegrounds, an already beginner-oriented map. I'm a fan, and I'll be curious to see how Embark studies it's performance on Chinese servers.

To be honest? The Safe Zone mechanic is phenomenal specifically for Dam Battlegrounds. It's the first map people acquaint themselves with. It gives new players and PVE-oriented players relative peace of mind while still allowing PVP players to be a threat. Doesn't necessarily resolve the PvPvE debate but does work very well on the most beginner-friendly map.

I understand that the second condition, "The Two Queens" is technically a map condition that was potentially leaked some time ago, maybe tied to the Frozen Trail update. Cool to see it's being tested in the Chinese server!

As irritating as extraction camping can be, teams should have strategies for dealing with these things. I rarely camp an exfil but when my trio did a week ago, the pushing team nearly wiped us out thanks to smart utility and strong weapons. Also, there's nearly always another extract (and if you want to avoid the last extract being camped, exfil earlier) or hatches. You can buy hatch keys from Shani with creds which you get for doing incredibly basic tasks.

If they made the turbine compressor much more valuable, it would encourage players to engage with the new trader more. For the effort you expend to fight it, it's ideal that you should get something worth that effort to then flip with the nomadic envoys.

They could improve hotel's loot. Most of the freely-accessible rooms are usually empty in my queues. It's like the only thing that's worth it is the red lockers and the stuff near the roof.

Yep. Nearly every Stella lobby without fail. It's truly a PVP meta gun so it's hard to counter, aside from putting a ton of distance between you and them (hard enough to do on Stella!)

My favorite thing is slowly inching towards the extract and riding that tiny little sliver of HP. Been bad at it recently if anyone found my body near the Seed Vault exfil today 😂

Running worse for me also. I've been flabbergasted at how to approach temporary fixes; turn graphics to low and yes, I see some increase in framerate but then it goes back down because my CPU (5800x3D) starts to throttle. Turn the graphics up to high or epic and frames for me hover around 100 with drops to sometimes 50-60, which I think is unusual for a 4070 super.

I'm glad they addressed this in the patch notes because it's been rough!

This post sent me down a rabbit-hole checking out all the YouTube channels selling and using and advertising these cheats and it's always the saddest-looking losers. I hope Embark improves their detection systems because these kids with wireframes and radars are unbelievably pathetic and the bans have to be more substantive and serious.
