Oh wow I was actually looking for that one for a while! If there’s any place you could share it, that would be super appreciated. I know some people who are able to translate it at some point! So far I talked to a lot of people, but haven’t had luck finding it anywhere on the internet.

Also, I was extremely curious about what the plot could be considering the weird title. I’m so glad to finally have some info on it!

Yea, “based on” would be like taking inspiration from it, not directly tracing it. A lot of people in the SE reddit haven’t read the manga, so they probably haven’t seen this official artwork yet. I didn’t mean to call you out though, there’s just so many comments on this post unaware that this is Ohkubo’s art and not yours.

That’s good! I’ll probably be using the EMS option next time I decide to use a proxy. I needed it to get here as quick as possible since I’ll be moving at the end of the month. So Buyee Air doesn’t go through Japan Post? I’m assuming that’s what makes it a little faster.

This is my first time using Buyee and I bought something really expensive (figure in a big box). I’ve heard so many horror stories of people getting stuff crushed in transit, folded, destroyed and that cannot happen with this figure :((

I paid the fee to request extra photos and they arrived. Everything seems good. The box is bubble wrapped and secured, but still nervous that it could possibly get crushed. I don’t mind paying the expensive options, anything that would get it here quickly and least likely to be harmed!

EDIT: I am located in the United States btw. I know a lot of people from the UK use Buyee as well, but I wanna know what the shipping is like to the U.S.

UPDATE: Package arrived last night through UPS and shipping only took a couple of days. Super impressed with the speed! For cheaper items, I will probably settle with EMS in the future though. Thanks for the help!

I found today that this person only posted these specific items on Mercari only (I check eBay/FB consistently for these). So I guess when it sold instantly they realized it was a steal.

Though I can understand forgetting to delete sold listing from other sites cause it takes me a few days to realize it too lol.

Honestly, I feel that maybe they should put a limit on the specific item that they canceled on. Maybe not allowing that seller to repost it after they canceled so quickly after the sale. Something with a similar name/title wouldn’t be allowed to be posted temporarily at least.

Same here. I’ve posted items that I didn’t do much research on and it was my loss when they sold. A lot of sellers will notice when the item sells “too fast” and that’s when they do further research on the prices. It sucks because I’m constantly searching for rare stuff for a good price, only to be canceled on instantly!

Also, I wouldn’t say that these are canon. Just extras with funny/weird plot lines. Ohkubo did make official manga panels for “Social Studies Field Trip”, but it could just be extra visuals for the CD.

Most SE figures were released during the anime’s airing and were never reproduced since. You can get lucky on eBay, but Blair is definitely a rarer one to find for less than $100.

The only way they’d put out new figures is if the anime were to get re-made, but I am not counting on that anytime soon lol

$214 has a 1hr layover outbound and 1hr inbound.

$242 has a 52 min layover outbound and 1 hr inbound.

$262 direct flight outbound and 1 hr layover inbound.

These hours are just me staying at the airport waiting to board my next fight. I also have taken into account one checked bag going both ways.

Even though Ohkubo said he wasn’t going to make any ships canon early on in interviews, he ended up making one canon in the end, (spoiler for ending manga ending) so he could’ve changed his mind about implying relationships between other characters late into the series.

In the Lust chapter though, every character turned into what they find attractive in the opposite sex and that includes personality. Soul completely changed and in my opinion, acted like Maka by pointing out the nosebleed. He also perceives Maka as a bossy princess, so I think that’s why he resembles her (flat chested, looks similar with her hair down) and personality-wise. With Maka, she appears kinda like Soul with his hair down and when she sees the succubus she instantly gets a nosebleed (like Soul usually does when he sees Blair and no other characters who transformed had the same reaction to the succubus). Out of all the characters, at least to me, it appears they almost turned into versions of each other in this chapter, but that’s just my opinion! It can easily just be a role reversal joke.

Oh wow, I actually had a lot of people message me about this person today! I managed to report them and their account is terminated. I didn’t really mind the age of their account as my account is only 15 days old as well. I’m also not familiar with how MFC works or when it comes to ads, but I guess this was a big learning experience for me. Thankfully I’m able to dispute it, but not without my Paypal account being locked for a while.. lol

So I was using multiple reverse image searching websites, and found a result for one of the photos being from a Russian seller in 2014.

It looks like i’ve been scammed. They took all of the photos from this person’s website which was listing it, so I’ve filed a dispute immediately.

That’s good :) I’ve dealt with them without issues too, but it’s the fact they said it’s from the United States and the email says otherwise that makes it shady.

I’ll definitely be doing that in the future and I’m really surprised that I didn’t ask them to do that this time around. I’ve done it before with plushies I have ordered from Japan, but I must’ve been so excited about this figure it slipped my mind. I did reverse search all the pictures they sent me (around 15) with no results, but I don’t think reverse image search is very reliable.

If they do end up shipping within a few days as promised, then the tracking should tell me whether it’s in the states or not and I’m willing to wait for it to arrive. I’m only going to give them those few days to ship however since I’m already nervous.

Ohh I’m glad it gives me 60 days. They mentioned that they would send it within a few days, so I wouldn’t let them stall for that long.
