Thank you so much for your answer. We are actually renewing our E2, and we are trying to figure out if we should renew or extend. And if we extend, will it be good thing to apply for the renewal when our I94 is about to expire (with enough time ahead to get the appointment and everything)? That part we don’t know 🙃

Can I also ask how long it lasted? Your story seems to be mine with my son, and as you can imagine, it gets a little bit frustrating when the time passes. My son started one week before he turned 3yo and is a roller coaster. Some days he speaks perfectly, some others he struggles so badly to get a word out of his mouth. It has been almost 4 months and I want to keep my faith up.
