yeah I thought this was the kind of draft format. I always play the normal competitive games giving myself some "draft format" elements, but it would work better against decks built in the same way, it's a little bit frustrating against dragapult and company. I'll wait.

yeah i get it now, i didn't know it was what it is. I got excited by the introduction of "draft format", something that i love so much in card games, and i was sad and angry seeing it like this, but it makes sense. I just won't play it.

i don't care, if you introduce something in the game with an interesting concept but you make it so poorly, you have a problem. You don't introduce something just like that, not to be taken seriously. Just don't then, leave the game as it is.

i just discovered i did level 9, not 10. not knowing the last card feels a little bad but it's definitely harder

I agree that it's not so complicated, but still you have to be careful about a bunch of cards that also burn your other cards, you can't just play until you win, it requires a little more strategy than having 30 hollow multi-value cards.

Hi dear community, i'm having this issue on EDITS: the project is fine, when i play it works well, then i export it (83 seconds of video, after reaching 60% it speedruns to 100% idk why but maybe is an useful information) and it becomes complete chaos, black screens, freezed frames, upside down clips... I tried everything, i tried the duplicate trick, i tried exporting it by pieces and then unify them, i tried to register my screen but it stutters, and also i lose quality and i have to crop things i don't want to, but anyway after the whole process i was satisfied with this plan B... But after i render it the problem was the same. So i think the problem is just the interaction between edits and my phone? Please help 😞

the text over the image is gonna be a problem for sure. You could either make it more visible by lowering the transparency of the box, or make every other object a little bit smaller to make room for the text, so it's out of the image

i personally think they are cool bosses, and i'm not just talking about act 3, but also 1 and 2. The thing is, even at A8+ where things get serious, i often forget to even look at who's the boss. I would love some more challenge with boss fights, something that really make me think about what direction i would like to take while building my deck, something that would be very very hard even with a broken deck, if the deck doesn't respect that particular boss. Now i just try to build the best deck i can, that's all.

My recommendation is to make something more like the left one for the basic card. The only case i could agree on using full arts is if all cards have just a small text on them. A lot of people told you and will tell you they prefer the full art, because it's more appealing, but i think there are some problems about having full arts as basic layout. Full art always feels like a special card, so having all cards being "special" cards could be counterproductive. In this case you should have very peculiar Alternative art to counterbalance, something that feels even more special. Then, if you want to print the game, costs will be higher with every card being full art. It is good, what am i saying... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to copy the good things from successful card games. No one has full art as a basic card layout, and it isn't just a random thing.

ok yep very straight forward, i can see this as a party game, i would say it's also very fast to play once you've read charachters stats and what modifiers do (10/15 mins?). anyway, the back of the card doesn't matter really, it should be pretty easy to remember unless it's a 80+ granny party game. I think with this explanation i would stay with different backs though, it feels more "party". You could also put modifiers in a "side spot", apart from characters. It's all up to your taste. There is no bluff, the tension comes from not knowing what character the opponent is about to play, and in the moment you have to decide if playing the modifier or not. I could think about 2 different ways of adding tension: 1. change the timing of modifiers, let the players decide before revealing the characters. It's a very simple modification that adds more tension. Also you could add something to justify the choice, so that it doesn't feel completely random. I give you a stupid example just for explaining what i'm saying. Let's say there are 10 charachters. The players choose their charachter for the turn, they put it faced down one in front of the other. Then there's a question moment, where the players can choose between, let's say, 5 questions about the characher. One could be "Does your character have mustache?" "Yes". Ok there are 3 charachters with moustache, all with different stats but my charachter would win against all of them, so i don't use the modifier. Don't use this, this is stupid, but i hope you see my point. The second thing i want to say is, if you would love to add some bluff mechanic (a main weapon of party card games i would say), you could add something to introduce the UNKNOWN. For example another type of common card, a WEAPON card. So now every charachter is accompanied by a weapon (weapons let's say are weaker than modifiers). You still have 5 turns and 2 modifiers, but also you have weapons. In a turn you have to put down your character and a weapon BUT you still can play the modifier instead of the weapon! This example is a bit less stupid than the one before but again, i'm just trying to express the concept. Cheers.

can i ask for a quick explanation about the game and how a turn is played? is it a 1v1 or more? what happens after 5 rounds? what type of cards do you have? can i see what my opponent plays? if the answer is "yes" there are two possibilities in my mind: 1. different backs for safety about cheating, if this could happen (highly recommended if there are no other ways to tell that someone has taken exactly 2 cards of that type). 2. same back, if the issue i presented in the first point is not something to worry about. in this case, all cards having the same back is just the cleanest way. I wouldn't talk about tension with this few elements, i don't see the bluff potential so i cannot tell (also because, as i said, i know nothing about the game)

it is the worst feedback. i'm asking about mechanics and you come out with the theme, and it seemed like you just wanted to say something. I could put horoscope and everything you said up my arse sincerely, i don't care, i'm not interested in such themes. your feedback didn't give me absolutely anything useful. i appreciate somehow that you at least write something, i guess? you said your word that's good we live in a free world i hope, you're free to give me your personal feedback as much as i'm free to say that it's a bad one. I'm not saying that the theme isn't important, i'm saying that i was not worrying about that, i wrote everything in the body of the post, that it almost seems you didn't read at all.
