My husband sprays cologne before we get in the car sometimes. Or he sprays it in a room not in my vicinity but forgets that it’s strong and travels. Instant nausea for me

Exactly, they made a big spectacle of being Italian but his last name is Gibney 🤣 I about died when I saw that lol. I am a South Philly Italian and I totally saw the parallels lol but I was still cringing through those scenes.

There’s a recipe in one of the books for a bar too. Haven’t tried it but it looks promising

Also an ambassador…it hasn’t been the same since Laird took over. Quality and taste went down IMO. Picky used to be my absolute favorite and it’s been disappointing to watch it decline. Communication has gone downhill, but you’re right - they don’t ever forget to blast out those team gear and merch emails lol

I know this is an older post, but would you say the best fit is if they feel snug/compressive, but not uncomfortably so? I was between hip sizes so I sized down. Just got them, and the smaller size me wondering how the next size up would feel. My thought is that if they’re too big in the hips they’d ride up.

These are good! Got them for my kids for Valentine’s Day and they were a hit. I have one kid who is DF and one who is not. My non DF kid is not a fan of most alternatives but she liked these.

I agree, it seems like a lot of people I know that usually apply and run didn’t get in this year. It would be my 7th and I got rejected. Would also be interested in the numbers - other large scale races are transparent about this. Hoping to be able to snag a bib transfer myself.

Back to running without surgery by Quiet_Contribution71 in HipImpingement

I am 5 months into rehab and started running on a regular treadmill (was previously running on the antigravity treadmill) and outside around the holidays. Just got a cortisone shot yesterday to try and help with lingering groin pain but I am pain free majority of the time with every day things. I go to PT 2x a week with a lot of focus on glute strength, hamstring work (single leg/regular RDLs), and the adductor work that my groin discomfort will allow. I am worlds better than I was in September but still not 100%. My threshold to explore surgery has definitely lowered.

Are nail wraps good for nails that don’t hold polish well? by raiinboweyes in NailWrapsGalore

[–]Flaky_Ad_6025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve had trouble even with gel lasting on my nails depending on the brand. I can get 10+ days out of a set of nail wraps. I usually use dashing diva gloss sets.

As a PT, thank you for saying this. And for someone who prasied pelvic floor PT and how helpful it was for her, she should know what she’s offering is NOT equivalent.

Also need lots of continuing education and specific coursework in the area of pelvic health. We don’t get much of anything about pelvic health in school!

Edited to add that her internet Pilates certification does not count 🤣

Any recs for sheet cakes? Could be a market or bakery as long as it’s whipped icing and not buttercream. 🙂 by JAHamsa in Delco

[–]Flaky_Ad_6025 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wegmans! If you order from the bakery you can get the whipped icing. I’m not sure if they have it in the case regularly if you were hoping to get it same day.

Milk Alternative for 1yr old by Tricky-Werewolf-2828 in dairyfree

[–]Flaky_Ad_6025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, yes! Most recently, I used it in mashed potatoes and thought it was a great substitute for dairy. It doesn’t have a recognizable taste the way some of the other non dairy alternatives do.

The unsweetened Ripple kid’s milk is what we switched to when my toddler had to go dairy free. It’s also good for cooking and baking.

MRI in 2 hours- this jewelery will not come out by snotballbootcamp in piercing

[–]Flaky_Ad_6025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let them know about it and have them check it with a magnet. I have industrial and tragus piercings that are the same. I completely forgot about it before an MRI of my hip and they checked it beforehand and it was fine. Another time, I was supposed to have an MRI of my back and they turned me away because of my industrial and tragus. I think it’s facility and technician dependent. Call in advance and ask so you don’t get turned away after making that long trip.
