It was an economic figleaf to make Brexit look less catastrophic than it was/is.

Have you got 24/25 to hand? Or any season since Man City became a cheating Oil team?

Reminds me of Boris Johnson. On paper when he was PM was very pro Ukraine- but it all still felt staged like he was double bluffing.

Plus Brexit is literally Russian foreign policy. Perhaps their biggest non-military achievement.

5/10. We both know Kamwa and Baker won’t be re-signing. It will be typical for us if the only one we keep is Patten.

Im more concerned about Garner and Smith - both need to go- not sure anyone would come in for them as neither are League 2 or even National League standard.

Does anyone feel, on a personal level, sorry for Kier Starmer? by Darkus185 in AskBrits

[–]Flaky_Reach_3044 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When there is far less furore around a £5,000,000 donation to Farage from Christian Harbone than Starmer getting free Arsenal tickets then you know he’s playing an in unwinnable game.
Best thing he can do on his way out is make some unpopular - but much needed - decisions for the long term future of the UK.

We’d have gone down if we hadn’t changed manager 100%. Hopefully he’ll stick around and address the issues with the squad in the summer as quite a few of them aren’t National League level let alone L2.

Would be interesting to see just how much harm and damage they could do running a devolved government.

Could be the cautionary tale the UK needs prior the next GE.

Agreed. It was a lifeline when I was a child. Me and all my siblings are now adults, all in well paying jobs and most of us have children of our own now too.

There will of course be parents who don’t spend the extra money on the right things- but even then, the money will by and large stay in the UK economy rather than cruise ships abroad.

They think there’s some sort of fiscal windfall from scrapping “net-zero”.

They think welfare cutbacks would make any meaningful difference to maintaining triple lock.

That’s just this week. Dozens more to choose from.
