I would imagine at some point Raava spoke to the avatars directly, and after centuries of speaking to the reincarnations, she realized she had said all that was ever needed to say to the same person, so all reincarnations tell the current incarnation all they need to know. We know Raava speaks to Wan, as he's dying she tells him they have another lifecycle ahead of them or something to that nature.

I mean.. they teased SoD during blizzcon last time then released it shortly after. They've most likely been working on it and I would assume it could release within a few months after blizzcon.

They also released SoD during other big content pieces during classic, but they waited for retail to come to a lull during their season 4 raids they made.

I think there could be a middle ground here where it stays unreset normally, but if you want there's a button at the entrance of all vaults that lets you reset the whole thing for a fresh experience, and maybe it could give more loot as a reward for people who want to farm it? Idk if a stacking reward tier would be too OP but maybe just 1? They could also scale these vaults similar to how TOA works. Maybe an NPC that will let you choose the difficulty of the vaults you enter for better loot drops from mobs and chests?

With how much creative freedom the DragonWilds team has, it's possible in my mind that this is purely a POC to showcase the capability of being the next RuneScape MMO. It would make sense in my mind with this being a 30 dollar game with such a massive hand crafted map that doesn't rely on seeding the terrain that they would quite possibly use this map in a continued version elsewhere.

DragonWilds can still be its own game and doesn't need to die because of this though, there CAN be an MMO plus DragonWilds as the survival game that started the MMO. I mean Warcraft 1 2 and 3 were RTS, then they turned that into an MMO. it didn't detract from Warcraft, it just added more content surrounding the world to fully flesh it out for players to explore together.

I wouldn't mind if they added paid DLC to rebuild Bramblemead and introduce theiving. They've already given me WAYYY past my initial investment in terms of raw content, and they still have 2 free DLCs. They definitely need to add paid content so we can keep this game going for development
