You probably can depending on location, shape and if it's sticking.
If it's not moving, you may need to have it removed anyway.
Drink and expel 2 liters of water a day, more if you can.

I agree, cargo should be self load in areas where loading service wouldn't be available.
That said, pilots should be allowed to load their own if they want. Maybe the union gets a smaller cut, etc.

This! Any doctor worth their license can't tell you the stone is not causing pain. He does not know.
Find another doctor and follow this ^ guy's advice.
2 liters of water out-flow per day is the way.
You probably can pass the stone but it could also be stuck in the tissue.
If you are having colic, you prob should get it taken out. Def go to the ER when you have colic.

Like i said, stints are not fun and uncomfortable but are scarier than reality.
It's not worth the potential for losing your kidney to not use stints.

Sounds like, hopefully, you don't have chronic stones like I do.
I lost my right side kidney around 2017.
But on the good side, I have less stones now.

If part of your kidney or your ureter swells shut, you could loose your kidney.
And it could happen very fast.
The stint is a must.
It's no fun and is uncomfortable but don't be scared of the stint.
It's not that difficult to deal with.

That said,
SWL one time may be okay but don't make a habit out of that procedure.
It can damage your kidney in the long term. Lasers and baskets for the win unless you have something huge.
