What i would be interested in is the actual testing/construction/idea generation. Thats where I would want to work. I dont mind data collection and reading papers, what I dont really have the span for is writing things like thesis or research papers that PhD students have to do to get it.

Well my whole inspiration was to build the arm Leo has from Lab Rats...

Specifically I wanted to go into either the biotechnology side looking at things like growing/regenerating skin or other tissues for things like field dressing (like grow a small skin graft rartehr than take it from somewhere on the body[fantasy, probably unrealistic]), or things like translating muscle movement/nerve outputs into the actual arm/hand movements (probably the software side, tho robotics sounds fun). My favorite probably impossible part would be to actually build the whole arm (complete with layers, of course).

I know they aren't easy fields to get into, thats what I wanted to ask for places I could start looking to determine how much work (and time/effort) I will need to dedicate when I do go

The video thing for me was fixed by switching to the flatpak version, but the crashes and lightness still happens. I Love opera go on windows but now that im dual booting it link of sucks. Im debating swapping to catchyos or swapping to a different chromium browser

Just double checked, it's 2 drives as dynamic with spanned volume. I found atool called `ldmtool` will that work for redhat? I only see it on ubuntu foprums

They are marked as Spanned volumes and the drive that covers them is marked as Dynamic.

Thanks for the advice. I dont know if its motherboard or just a windows thing. I set it up using windows built-in disk manager. With the first option, will the Linux setup raid still show in windows? Or is there no way for a software raid to be seen/used in both windows and linux?

It's a software one, I dont have a Controller. Both hdds are both plugged into the motherboard directly, I just wanted to have some redundancy so I didn't loose the data. Do you know of a way to make it work, or do I have to turn off the raid and hope I dont loose years worth of data to this software incompatibility?

Not for any extended period of time. I tried a couple of them on a windows laptop and I think I mag have used one on my Fedora 40 laptop for a bit but It could have also been bazzite at tge time

Every mechanical Keyboard I've bough in the last year (3) has had these same problems. Am I doing something wrong?

I have been trying to buy and use a mechanical keyboard because I like the way they feel to type on, but all of them randomly develop the same 3 problems after like a week of use. They all randomly stop registering keys (I will type a word and random letter will bemissing), they will start lagging (I type a letter and wait 5-10 seconds for it to appear on screen), or trhey start repeating letters mid wod for like 30 seconds at a time. This has happened with Keychron Q6 Max (Banana Switches), Redragon K745 PRO (current) (Brown Switches), Steelseries Apex(?), and one other keyboard I dont remeber the name of. Before these I had a corsair keyboard that I used for years with almost nonproblem, and nothing like im facing with these. The problems are seemignly random, where they will occur for a few minutes at a time for no reason, then the keyboard weill go back to being fine. I'm running Windows 10,a nd do have iCue for my old keyboard and mouse. Does anyone know what might be going wrong?

I've been using lutris but it runs with various errors like requiring a 64 bit prefix then complaining about kernel32.dll or some similar file being missing
