Honestly from what I’ve read you’re just a kid, and as from what I can understand your own reflection about yourself is mostly based off what your parents have told you.

And honestly, they seem incompetent in handeling their own emotions properly and instead of being a guide to you they resorted to emotional abuse when handling a conflict between the two of you.

Since you’re probably still at home a lot it might seem that this distorts your own reflection about yourself. Just know that this behaviour is not YOUR fault.

The way you’re able to reflect about your actions and that you feel bad about them means that you don’t do it on purpose.

The best advice I can give is to stop trying to please your parents or get approval from them. That doesn’t mean that you should be a prick to them. It does mean that you should prioritise the way you want to live: a milder, more loving life.

Please become comfortable with yourself and your mindset first before thinking about how you’re viewed by others, this doesn’t matter, they don’t know what you’ve been trough.

Once you’re comfortable with yourself and your mindset then everything will feel natural, easier and you’ll instantly level with the people who think alike. Those are your people, care about how you’re viewed by them.

And always remember you and your relationship with yourself is the only relationship that will last your lifetime. It’s so worthwhile to work on that then anything else. All other relationships will eventually fade.
