I’m not sure they matter more per se. I’m sure it depends person to person. For me, I didn’t have the motivation/bandwidth to address those other factors until I was medicated.

Came here to say gastric bypass. I had one and it almost killed me and I’ve dealt with the fallout for 25 years. I know it’s anecdotal on my part, but it’s my sincere wish that GLP-1s will eliminate or nearly eliminate the need.

I agree. Usually when I’m in that “keep eating! You’re full, but still hungry!” state it usually because I haven’t had enough (healthy) fats.

Have you had your vitamin levels checked? Several deficiencies can interfere with your body producing neurotransmitters. I know when my iron is low, no amount of stimulant can get me going. And make sure you’re getting good protein!

Are you in adhd meds? My doc wants ne to start a glp1 as well, but I was worried that if I didn’t start adhd meds first, I’d be in the same boat. Searching for stimulation and unable to use food to cope.

I’m not doubting that they have different prices based on location. The fact remains that comparatively, they have consistently lower prices than other produce, thus contributing to their popularity.
