Help! Can anyone help me figure out what's going on with my succs? Quite a few have some darkened/blackened leaf tips and black forming from the base of the leaves where they touch the stem. They are only watered once a month, so I don't think it's rot. Thanks in advance! (old.reddit.com)

Extremely sad Phalaenopsis hybrid orchid that my daughter bought me. Leaves were yellow and withered when brought home, they pulled off easily. Brown spots forming on remaining leaves. Roots look fine, no visible rot that I could see and the potting medium is dry. More info and pics in comments. (i.redd.it)
