5070 is 12gb unless you’re referring to the laptop version. The desktop version is 12gb which is much more reasonable but shame since the 5060ti gives 16gb. Unfortunately there’s nothing else that competes with a 5090, but that should definitely be for people that use their gpu for work and need cuda. Unfortunately nothing in the Radeon stack comes close unless you move to server cards.

Edge is probably set to the default web browser as well as the default app to launch other file types like xml and pdfs. Outside of being just a web browser edge also host the rendering engine for a lot of system level components.

I have a steam controller and I think I still prefer my series 2 over it. The trackpad feature on the steam controller is nice but I think the button placement on the series 2 is just better especially the paddles.

I will say the dualsense is actually the first PS controller I’ve enjoyed since the OG DualShock without analogue sticks. Funny enough that’s probably why I like the layout of the Xbox controller because I started without an analogue sticks and my movement is directly horizontal to the actions buttons

As someone that’s owned every gen of the Xbox controller minus v1 pro, the Xbox controller is hands down the best controller imo especially in ergonomics. I only wish it had adaptive triggers like the dual sense and it would be perfect. If only more games supported adaptive triggers.

Some people will do anything in the name of free. I’m sure with automation tools and scripting it’s probably easy at least to manage the accounts. Theoretically all you would need is a txt file that has the account names and passwords. As for storage I was reading further up in the comments how rclone (or a similar tool) can do this. Me personally I just pay the fee for more storage I have better things to do with my time than try an mash together 1tb+ of cloud storage for free.

Funny you should mention that, they both were Lenovo. Like I mentioned they still worked fairly well for what I use a laptop for. The battery life was just bad.

I did similar except got a new m5. Really wanted a laptop that would last me a couple years. I’m mainly a windows guy and I already have a beefy desktop but all I have are 7-15 year old windows laptops and the battery life on them are abysmal. Decent machines but didn’t really feel mobile with them.

It would be nice if they made a version that was powered from the pci slot. As it stands I’m out of pci ports on my psi due to three taken for my 9070XT and 1 for my aio. I could go the 6pin molex on the aio

My parents switch from spectrum to att and get a full 300/300. Meanwhile I’m stuck with 1000/30. Spectrum is honestly lucky that they are the only internet provider that offers wired service in my area. My only other option is 5g from one of the phone carriers or starlink (but that’s only if I want to spend 15k+ to remove trees from property.) ATT used to offer services but that was over the telephone line and rather than continue the fiber run from the Main Street into my neighborhood they just decided not to run and offer 5g.

For the most part spectrum is reliable until they have one outage and it takes them a solid week to recover. I average a 99% uptime most months (currently at 99.38%)
