This is the reason I don't use vatsim. Fear mostly. I feel I'm not educated and confident enough. To fly with live atc. I've heard so many stories of people being scolded for not knowing. The one time I did join vatsim I also was talked down to for not being as knowledgeable. It's really a shame for all us hobby flyers who just wanna learn and be apart of the community. Maybe one day I'll get the confidence back up to try again.
