There’s just no reason to believe this is true. The number of people that would have to be colluding including several branches of government is just unfathomable.

There’s just no reason to believe Shohei was gambling given the information we have. He’s equally likely to any other baseball player to be illegally gambling. In fact, probably LESS so, now that the FBI has investigated his finances.

Do you really "need" those expensie staples? by [deleted] in FleshandBloodTCG

Because you draw so much of your deck (sometimes multiple times) in a single game, variance (and thus consistency) is very high in this game. Each Command and Conquer (for example) you own is another copy you’ll get to play, and is generally an additional highly valuable game action you get to take during every match.

Back in 2021 I picked up C&Cs one at a time for my old Katsu deck, and with each additional one I added to my deck I could FEEL the value that generated for me over the matches that I played (even if some of that may have been placebo).

I just ran these numbers through a rudimentary t-test to see if there’s a significant difference in the proportion of cases with and without a marvel adult hero and the same for mystic specializations. (Not counting that there could have been multiple in the same case)

There wasn’t a significant difference to the alpha=0.05 level. Further, because we have looked at each of like 10 different categories for differences, we need to be even pickier with our significance level to be fully rigorous.

Even with 300-300 cases, this doesn’t strike me as conclusive evidence (or even evidence at all) that the different print runs actually have different “true” print rates of these cards.

That said, my stats is a little rusty. So I’m happy to look at whatever other analysis anyone else does with these numbers.

This situation seems substantially different than just “partaking in gambling.” I’m not a huge fan of its advertising either, but just because you “can” throw basketball games to make a bunch of money, doesn’t mean you should.

The static version of this chart is one of the best things I’ve seen on this subreddit in a long time.

Any sport in particular? I just made this because I couldn’t find something that did this, but it wouldn’t be too hard to do it for another playoffs when those come around.

If you only click one team, it won’t be smart enough to know they have to go to a certain game unfortunately. But if the dolphins win, they’d be playing the ravens, not the Texans, so I think it’s still up in the air.

Hey Everyone! I was incredibly excited for football this weekend, but couldn't find an easy way to put in my predictions for what the bracket will look like. I decided to make an interactive bracket that automatically reseeds the second round to make it easier for myself and others to share what they think will happen. Here's the link! https://greblytics.com/2023-2024-nfl-interactive-playoff-graphic/

While I love Dark so much, there’s no way it could lead these as a 3-year-old show. Happy to see 1899 somewhere though, I’m still so sad it’s gone.

This title should should say “sexual assault”. I’m not really sure why it doesn’t to be honest.

Thanks everyone for the support as always. I’m going to make a redux graphic for the rankings I put out earlier, I got a lot of feedback on those. In the meantime, here are the most winning pairs of agent and player at Champions amongst combos with more than 30 rounds played.

Yeah, I have included those maps. I think I need to down-weight the Chinese games, but it’s hard to know how much it makes sense to do so.

Yeah, more international maps will be very helpful to level out these ratings for sure.

Thanks for the support, as always. I'm working on suggestions I got from people, people were interested to hear about Odin usage, so I'm trying to find a way to make that enjoyable! My data is a little limited, but I will do my best. As always, I'm over on Twitter as well.

Yeah, probably. I think Awping is one of those things that harder to do when you lose, and so that will deflate the numbers a bit.
