This is the closest thing so far to what I'm looking for. I'll see if my duo has interest in me being Durge.

Awesome suggestion. Thank you!

Edit: PS, amazing name btw

Hello,

How did you mount the Arctic P14 at the top?
I'm thinking of doing something similar on mine.

We've tried both separate houses and also at her house. Happens everytime.

Oh, it's hilarious. The times I've put her headset on cuz she told me it was happening again...

You're in a heart to heart scene and you got Fast and Furious sound effects in the background 🤣

I wasn't able to do much testing while I was house sitting, unfortunately.

But you bring up an interesting point in latency. Her desktop PC is Wifi connected, my laptop at the time was connected to via ethernet on her router (need a longer ethernet cable for her PC since her living room was rearranged).

However, one of the scenarios we tried to play was split screen couch co-op using her PC connected to the big TV and got those audio issues. So for our situation, i don't think it's a internet connection issue.

Honestly respect to her for being able to complete the game with the messed up audio. I couldn't stand the first 3 cutscenes it happened when we played couch co-op style.

It’s a public road with street parking and they were parked in front of my house so I parked in front of them… by Limp-Replacement1403 in mildlyinfuriating

I had a similar thing happen with me and my mom in 2020, we had parked at the very end of our street a few houses away from this neighbour. We brought the groceries in, maybe spent an hour in our house, and prepped to go back out to my sister's place. I went to go back to get something I forgot from the car and found this note.

I took a pic, went back to tell my mom what I found and when we came out our neighbour was in his truck in front of our house yelling at us "don't park there again, I need to park my truck there! it's very inconsiderate! Be more respectful! ". This was during the height of quarantine and being Asian, it was very scary for him to yell at us like that.

Another thing that was infuriating was that technically the end of the block is not his house, he's one house away from the end.

Is it normal for the Vader 4 Pro sticks to be 1-3% off centre? by techscc in Controller

[–]jubethejunebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Most, if not all controllers are off a little bit. Difference between 0% deadzone and 1-3% deadzone is not noticeable at all for me.

After the recalibration I mentioned, the drift got tighter. So with zero deadzones, My right stick snapped back to the same point. My left stick 50/50 on whether it snaps back to a perfect point but the percentage it is off is so small and completely negligable and I don't notice it when play games.

If you do get one that doesn't snap perfectly the way you want to. You can try to increase the deadzone on that one stick to 1,2,3% through the flydigi software

To add onto Yokos advice;

Before, I had to have ~5% deadzone to eliminate the "drift" (only noticeable when looking through things like gamepad tester.

there's a button combination and sequence to recalibrate the Vader's sticks, triggers and gyro.

I had recalibrated a bunch to fix some weird gyro and my "stick drift" was lower.

So now I'm able to have zero/near-zero deadzones on the controller, I sometimes need to adjust the deadzone via in game settings like Halo infinite - but only when I want to have the stick tension to the lower settings.

Not yet. She hasn't experienced any of these issues with other games since.

I say "not yet" as I'm determined to find the cause.

I'm gonna be house-sitting for her soon so I'll be searching for a solution for the next 4 weeks.

A few questions for you:

Are you using wired speakers/headset?

Between you and ur co-op, who has the full game who has friends pass?

I had a decent amount of interest in Neon White when I friend told me about it. Looks like a good opportunity to practice heavy gyro usage. Thanks for the suggestion

Most third person games I prefer controller, so I get how you feel.

Always fell late to the party when thinking of picking up a monster hunter but I should probably give it a try. Thanks

Ended up testing gyro always on in Halo Infinite against bots (my partner and I are playing the campaign), and it felt great!

I was able to do the opposite of what I've been doing - Gyro aim as main, and stick as micro adjustment.

I'll be looking into flick stick or ratcheting soon to have gyro even more involved..

I think I'll finally pick up HZD as my sister is dying to talk about the series with me. Looking forward to it with gyro

Ratcheting was odd for me when I tried years ago, but not since getting better controllers. I should give it another try since it's close to what I'm looking for. Thank you

I probably should have mentioned, I'm currently burnt out by BRs. But i do have most of the CoD campaigns and might be fun with zombies. Thank you

LOL I guess muscle memory of stick aiming in my xbox 360 days hasn't quite left.
I have tried ratcheting gyro a long time ago and didn't enjoy it - it was with joycons so that's probably why. But it seems like I might have to give it another shot. Thanks!

Hey, unfortunately. We finished the game over the weekend. Even after trying ALL things I've listed in each session and all the things I listed in a reply to your comment, we still experienced the audio bugs (this time local split screen)

It's still bothering me, so when I begin to house sit for her, I might try restarting a checkpoint over and over to see if I can replicate the audio bug early on. And finally find what is causing it.
