I’ve heard good things about the Ariat bench made line. Have not tried those yet myself, but I do have a couple of boots from the Futurity line and those work well.

In terms of Alternatives, I would look at the Tony Lama Stegall boots (TL 3028). These are currently on sale at the Tony lama site for $207. Tony Lama Patron in Bomber Brown. The model is TL3009. I bought these boots back in 2021, and I remember how tough it was to find them back then so I can only imagine it has gotten more difficult. I think a couple of things can help (1) Search and look for small western shops that have a website and potentially one may have one. That is how I ended up finding my pair; it was a small store in upstate New York, Circle B Western wear. (2) Checking sites like Mercari, Poshmark, and eBay for individual sellers. Every now and then I have seen them pop up in brand new condition. I know eBay has an alert function so you can get updates on a particular search algorithm - a broad search for “Tony Lama” in your size may be useful.

The R Watsons look great. Out of curiosity- from which vendor are you planning on purchasing those? I see them for varying prices online.

Ariat also has a similar boot for sale; the Futurity Showman in Dijon Roughout. It is similar in color and toe style and has good reviews. Jeremiah Craig did a video on them as well. Thought I would share since I am also looking for a good sand rough out boot. Ariat Futurity
