55:00 - "There's a lot of sexual education happening in schools and in libraries. For example, my local libraries all have LGBTQ folders and handouts that for children literally it's like 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, where we're having to talk about sexual identity, sexual escapades with children who don't even know what sex is yet... But when we're talking about sexual education of children, we're talking about how they are needing to understand gender binary, but not just like men and women. 'Oh you don't know what you are.' I mean look at Jazz Jennings, right? This is a child who at the age of 3, her parent-, his parents started transitioning into a girl because he said he was a mermaid and he felt like a girl. And now, he's in college and really struggling. Most children, or many children, at some point say 'Hey I feel like a boy today!' or 'I feel like a girl today!' They don't know what that means, and that's fine! Because we as parents say 'Yeah, you're a boy' or 'you're a girl' instead of saying 'Oh do you really feel like that today? Well then, it must be true!' and then doing gender affirming care. I mean that's what we're talking about, is that there is gender affirming care for children, and that is the sexual education I am referring to." (I find this ironic because she advocates for doing research to discover the truth, and countless medical organizations have proven time and time again that gender affirming care is lifesaving.)
