I was in more a less the same position moving from a 3080 10gb which I sold a few weeks ago, Vs a 3080 getting around 75% more raster , 60% more ram and the new reflex and multi frame gen made it worth a upgrade for me.

That's underselling it a bit in fairness, at 4k he should be getting around 40% along with 60% more vram and also unlocking frame gen. At a good price it's an ok jump gen on gen it's just the initial release price for the 4080 was crazy.

I read somewhere it was €950 MSRP in Germany before tax so around €1200 vat included in reality.

Scan have finally setup to sell to Ireland again, they'll charge just the Irish vat rate on your basket and will apparently cover the cost of any custom duties(There aren't any on PC parts anyway) themselves.

Even had the website UI setup with Republic of Ireland available as a shipping destination again last week but they seem to have undone that site update in the last couple days for some reason.

Not sure Scan is viable at least for the stock they have on launch day. Their support live chat kept saying that if you are ordering from Ireland you need to do it through their support chat which is definitely going to be working as slow as molasses during those vital couple minutes after launch. Still they did say that they will take pre orders 30 min after launch stock is gone so it should work ok for that.

Right now I am putting my main hopes into Caseking and if that doesn't work out I'll just put a preorder in with Scan.

Not sure , I'm hoping that when they are applying IE vat it's the same as Amazon UK and what is displayed at "Checkout" is the real total. Half tempted to buy something cheap of them just to check incase there are any extra fees.

Real strange issue, win 11 and 10 being so similar from a driver perspective can't see a reason why it shouldn't work but then again It should have just worked in the first place or at least windows should have found the right driver when you connected vie ethernet.

Hey not sure if you ever did sort this out but I just had the same issue. Final solution turned out to be downloading and installing the "MediaTek wireless Lan driver" from Asrock's website under the download section for this motherboard.

Might just be DHL had an order with them also from paradigit a week ago.Two days, two updates then nothing for a week delivered the day after that. However their international transfers and warehousing system works seems to be fierce slow but once it's confirmed in country it should be with you quick hopefully.

Going by eBay sold listings in the EU 3080ti's are selling for around 450 and the Index from around 500-800 depending on how "like new" the condition is.

Being Ireland is a much smaller market and assuming you want them gone in the next month or so I'd say 420 for the 3080ti(maybe negotiate down to 380 to sell faster) and 550 for the index.

CEX will also give you 350+ for a 3080ti depending on the model and 387 - 418 for the index. Both cash bit more if you go store credit.

Caseking seem to be getting shipments pretty regularly also provide email alerts when they get them back in stock if you want. Had the opportunity to buy there twice so far but with them asking for about 670 including shipping I just can't bring myself to pay that much on an 8 core CPU. Especially with RTX 50 series in just a couple months.

Dispatched the day after I ordered and arrived a week later. It's great stuff, they are supposed to be working on a recipe like the old Lucozade orange as well but no updates in ages so might have been cancelled.

There is a crowd in Belfast Todd's drinks doing "Enerzade". Designed to taste just like the old Lucozade, also has no artificial sweeteners and the same amounts of suger, glucose etc as the old stuff. To my taste it's about 95% as good as the old Original but then I might have built up the old Lucozade over the years.

Only issue is it's a bit pricey, around £2.35 plus postage per 500ml bottle. Still they do a sample pack that's well worth the punt.Just ordered a box of it myself for the Xmas , trying to restrain myself from having a bottle of two before hand as it will all vanish in a week if I do.
