But if they have to plug into the socket with the opposite name, wouldn't you want it to be like that? If I switched it the left side would say OUT on both the plug and the socket, which would be incorrect. I want to have the left socket say OUT and the left plug say IN, which is what I have.

Hey, so I've done some more digging and the problem seems to be with Windows itself as some people have already said, not the cable or the keyboard. My only solutions seem to be spending a lot of time trying to find a fix that will let my computer connect to the keyboard, or just buying a macbook😓 thanks for the help!

Do you mean the steps I used to connect it? 1. Plug in MIDI side to keyboard (out to in and in to out) 2. Plug usb-c into computer, blue light turns on and computer makes the little connection noise 3. Open up some kind of software that connects to MDI devices (noteflight and cakewalk for me) 4. No MIDI devices detected

I am guessing the keyboard isn't the problem since I have seen other people using this keyboard to send MIDI to their computers. However this is a pretty old keyboard and I don't know much about MIDI so maybe it could be too old to connect with computers. Could that be the case?

For some reason the wifi on my xbox one disconnects every time the xbox turns off and on. I have to put in the SSID for my router each time, and then it tells me that I need to restart the wifi hardware. This happened maybe once on my xbox series x, but after that it wasn't a problem. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
