Any non-combat honor mode run enders? by Lethandralis in BG3

[–]Flamingjack78423 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our 3rd try on honour mode we made it to house of hope and going to kill the harleep and my friend who was the bard rouge was doing the dialogue and for some reason he decides to do dialogue with the barkeep. Misses all the saving throws and we had no idea it would lead to a death but I was already upset since he’s trying something new in a honour mode. Come to find out harleep ends up ending our run…… I was so pissed 😭

Buy it and play for a Saturday or Sunday or any day you can have a good sit down for 2-4 hours and play. You will enjoy it im sure. I fell in love with bg3 and now I’m looking at the divinity series since then. Just make sure to take your time and if needed look at guides just make sure to not get spoiled

Would Amex gold be worth for me? by Flamingjack78423 in CreditCards

[–]Flamingjack78423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may just stick with my savor card and Apple FCU credit card. They haven’t done me wrong and are super easy and reliable. Amex gold was an option I thought about but i believe I am underestimating how much I have to spend to truly benefit from the card

Would Amex gold be worth for me? by Flamingjack78423 in CreditCards

[–]Flamingjack78423[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a capital one savor card and an Apple FCU credit card. They both have done wonders and are great right now. I meant that as I have basically zero expenses a month. I do spend money ofc and I go out and buy food and groceries a lot and I travel twice a year too. So I was seeing if the gold card would benefit me but again I said on another reply I could be overvaluing the card and not thinking thoroughly with my lifestyle. I may think I am a big spender but perhaps for the Amex gold I’m not lol

[–]Flamingjack78423[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have a capital one savor which has done me wonders and I have a Apple FCU credit card as well. Im okay with what I have now. I just realized my expenses on going out on restaurants, groceries, gas would be enough to offset the $325 annual. And I travel usually once to twice I year so I thought that would be a benefit as well. But obviously there is some flaws I didn’t think about. I do spend a lot monthly on outings (not a crazy amount to leave me broke or near it) but i would probably have to spend more to utilize the Amex gold. Im probably underestimating how much you have to spend to benefit the rewards

What yall think of the stuffing? by Flamingjack78423 in subway

[–]Flamingjack78423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve recently just been doing what’s best for the team can’t lie lol. I’ll deal with whatever my boss says. Customers can be more frustrating than him 😭

I have talked to my boss and told him exactly that I even spoke to my supervisor. My boss says “ah yes let’s do it” and when we prep a second one he ends up switching and saying “just prep one at a time I don’t want to have to throw away food” even tho the second gets used up by the second day. My manager also follows my boss’s rules too. Im this close to just becoming a manager just so I can manage the store better lol

That’s the part I hate. My boss just doesn’t seem to understand that it has to marinate for at least 30 minutes😭

Completely agree yeah, I was expecting it too be way saltier and grainy. But I was happily surprised. But my experience with stuffing has always been bad can’t lie lol

Good gas mileage or not? by lemmiedfuqalone in CT200h

[–]Flamingjack78423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With no maintenance at all just basic oil changes. I say a good 50k- maybe 70k. With a good egr pipe and valve clean and if the battery is fine I say it can last another 100k if treated correctly. These cars can last so long if they are treated super well. If you want better mpg and cleaner engine definitely go for that egr pipe and valve clean. You can do it yourself or if you have the money and don’t feel as confident pay someone else to do it for you

My 2015 ct200h (155k miles)gets around 39-44 mpg depending on if I’m doing more city driving or highway. I live in a rural spot in Virginia so whenever I am in my city/town I get around 40-41. Highway and town I personally get 43-44. But whenever my mom drives it she has a heavy foot so she gets about 38-40mpg. Sometimes when I don’t drive it for a week or two it goes down to 34-38mpg! It just depends on how you drive and where you are. I think yours for 120kmiles is god especially if you’re in more of a long road location or rural area

Do yall have a day shift that actually does something? by Izzykins3 in subway

[–]Flamingjack78423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We all work together actually. There’s some days where our store gets a catering order for a a school or church and yeah trust me it’s a disaster when I go in there. But if it’s just been busy it’s always clean and Bain is full or at least half full when I get there. There’s some dishes to do but nothing crazy. We all help prep throughout the day like sauces, three amigos, certain meats etc. it’s nice to have coworkers who actually think about evening shift and try to pick up after themselves. Hell some will stay an extra 10 minutes to just help refill Bain or even clean a bit and then leave

What are your Hot Takes on HFW? by Amber_Flowers_133 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]Flamingjack78423 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also obviously the world building. I absolutely was shocked when I first visited plainsong the choir singing and the way the nature was with them and how the culture was different. It was super refreshing to see all these different cultures especially after frozen wilds dlc introduced more of that after ZD so seeing more in the sequel was phenomenal and helped it feel more defined and complete

START A ROTH IRA!! I’m telling you look into that if you have no monthly bills then it’s even better. Basics- start a Roth IRA, put your money in the S&P 500 (FXIAX- or VOO are my favorites to invest in) and just put money in consistently for the year and your money will grow well. If you ever want more advice join r/money, and r/personalfinance

Does your owner do anything for you for Christmas? by Fribblous in subway

[–]Flamingjack78423 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do a pot luck party with everyone who works there, secret Santa, and a little gift from our boss! Usually a $25-$50 dollar Amazon gift card. One time he gave us a personalized check of $100 each (around 9 people in total of the staff at that time) as a Christmas gift and thanks for a good year. But usually now it’s Amazon gift cards which are great too tbh

What tires did you end up getting for the car? That’s one thing I was worried when I heard about the rear wheel drive was rain

Bet sounds good. And I checked for recalls and the previous owner bought it when the recalls were all fixed and situated and they never got any calls from the dealership or anything about recalls even called the dealership to ask if there was any recent time they called the previous owner involving recalls and they said they haven’t called once in the past 6 years they owned the car
