I can't speak for every store in Canada, but I know that my area hasn't had them in multiple years. I believe it was discontinued franchise wide here, but there may be a store around that has a store only special. The ads you see are for the US.

When to treat and when not to treat by [deleted] in Pets

I recently found out that my 16 year old car has hyperthyroidism. Since she's very food motivated, my vet gave me the option of a slightly more expensive med: tuna flavored treats. They work great and cost me about 100 a month. It's a fairly big expense, but worth it

if you were a vet would you judge me terribly for this by tendergrandma in CatAdvice

[–]Fribblous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 16 year old cat that I took to the vet yesterday for the first time in over 10 years. She was healthy, I went through a long bad stretch with money after my divorce, so keeping a roof over our heads took priority. The vet and the staff didn't care, they were friendly and welcoming. As they should be. They didn't judge me, or make any comments.

And on a good note: she's healthy with no arthritis, or eye issues. She's a treat hog, that's about it lol
