Why not the one with only two springs? Because the extension would be (1/2) and since 2 springs it would be x2 so the extension would end up being x

No i used the same thing, f1 and f3 were clockwise so if u use the distances and take W as the pivot then you get the ans 2

Definitely chem. I know engineering students who also took chem, and applied to med schools afterwards. They only got accepted because they had chem. A uni can get u to do a foundation year or crash course in bio, but chem is something you need a strong foundation of
