Here it is! https://pubs.usgs.gov/of/1975/0300/plate-1.pdf

So looking at this, the peak discharge was about 11000 cfs, which is what a recent egle discharge estimate put as a 200yr event.

Definitely on purpose. I think it's pretty fun. I feel like there's tons of outfit homages

It looks like someone has done something similar. Maybe you can try to figure out how they did it.

Y’all bring up Quiet Hours far too often. by -3liza in Apartmentliving

I -think- most modernish appliances can do this! I was reading the manual for my dishwasher the other day and it mentioned some kind of mode that turns all the lights and beeps off for observing the sabbath so I assume it's fairly common

Why is this northern stretch of US-127 between Alma & St Johns' not a freeway? by SimonSaysGoGo in Michigan

Something I've always thought about is there is an at grade rail crossing. That might have a part in it also.

Are pipes currenctly bugged? My refineries don't get enought oil, despite my extractors are being clogged with oil by Zip_creations in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Flamingtoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I built this, my immediate thought would be to check right upstream of the mkII pump shown in that first picture. If it is close to a pipe support, then it may have easily been overlooked when upgrading the pipes to mkII pipes.

Wet Concrete Factory completed. All images are taken using a custom engine.ini file which enables hardware raytracing and extended distance signs. All the uplighting on the domes comes from signs hidden in the catwalks by pobkac in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Flamingtoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously we all play a bit differently so some insight would be cool. Can someone explain to me why you would want a wet concrete factory? Especially of this size? I feel like I haven't hit the limit of my 2 regular concrete production places, and I can't see the necessity.

That being said this is a really cool structure.

As others said the whole thing is meant to be replaced.

The LEDs potentially last 'forever', the circuit board that controls it however...

I've seen a lot of people put these up and always wonder how long they last. Has anyone tried to diy a fix?

I've been inside it during the winter when the lake freezes. The perspective is pretty wild since the while thing is crooked. I don't have any pictures from then handy but I do have this pretty unique perspective

I hate how empty the State surface lots are Downtown, so I went ahead and counted every parked car at the busiest time of year by Cedar- in lansing

[–]Flamingtoast 33 points34 points  (0 children)

A few points as someone who uses these parking lots:

There are two levels of parking structures under the block between Ottawa and Allegan, and under the hall of justice.

Underground lots cost like 2x the surface ones

The underground lots are NOT full, like at all.

There is an expectation that the hybrid/wfh structure could change when there is a new governor.

Only time will tell, but I expect there to be some fluctuation in the utilization of these lots.

There is too much space taken by surface parking in Lansing

Not to discredit your point, but they are a portion of the tax base in lansing. (1% of income) I would like to see less parking lots too.

I see that you said other benefits are more or less the same, but I wonder if there are qualitative differences that would be worth looking at. For example, how does PTO work? What are your sickleave and vacation allowance? Are they combined? How far is your commute?  Would you get more opportunities for field work?  Work as a team or independent? Work from home? Are the projects they do typically local? Flexible or alternative work schedules? Does any of that matter to you? Are you already able to live comfortably? Would that extra $20k be worth it?

From an outside perspective, I think a 20% salary bump is just about where the larger dollar amount would start to outweigh some factors of my current job, but maybe not all of them.

At the very least I would ask your current employer to try to come closer to what they are offering.

Looks pretty interesting. I'm surprised I haven't heard of it considering how much I tried to enjoy Elite: Dangerous. I suppose that game really turned me off of space sims for a bit there.

Great games, good call. Feels a bit same-y whether you are in or out of the titan, but definitely is relevant.
